1^ST Annual Weller’s Motorama Race Car Show Set For March 22, 2008

Bridgeville, DE…..Delaware race fans are ready for the 2008 season to start.  But before any cars hit the track fans will get a glimpse of some of their favorite driver’s car with the 1^st annual Weller’s Motorama Race Car Show, in Bridgeville, DE.  The business will host this one day event on the grounds of the Weller’s Utility Trailers. 

The anxious fans will get to see all types of racing vehicles, from Go-karts, Mud Hop Trucks, Dragway, to Stock Cars (dirt modified & Super Late Models, etc.), Vintage Cars (Southern Delaware Vintage cars & Delmar Vintage Club) with a date set for Saturday, March 22, 2008 (rain date March 29) for the show.  The show will be 10 AM – 3 PM at Weller’s Utility Trailers.  The business is located directly on Route 13 Sussex Hwy, on the right hand side of south bound lane toward Seaford.  Going on north bound lane just located past the town of Seaford, on the left side of Rt. 13, Sussex Hwy. 

It is the first year, commented promoter Richard Pearson, but we hope it is a hit so we can keep coming back.  We’ve asked for any drivers in racing to come and display their car for fans to see, along with seeing drivers’ new paint schemes.  We don’t really have a limited set amount of cars to display and there is no dead line to enter; although, by Friday, March 21, I hope to have a pretty good idea of number of cars.  All entries will receive a dash plague, too. 

We’re having an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids; for adults an Egg Drop race for fun.  Music, Driver autographs, all kind of race items for sale, starting at .99 cents, Pearson remarked.

Get your engine running by enjoying a little pre-season fun and come see those fast, furious, pure racing cars of force up close.  It’s free!  Can’t go wrong!
