• Georgetown Speedway will be open and running Friday, May 26, 2006.  The line up will be Modifieds, both crate classes TSS Mod & TSS Late will be running.   As far as order of nights events not known at this time.  June 23, 2006 Little Lincoln will run there.  Reminder the tire rule is American Racer 44 or Harder or  Hoosiers Tire 1300 or Harder for the right rear.  If you have questions I'll do my best to get them answered why we are still getting this ready to go.  Email me or leave on the Georgetown Forum.  5/21/06

• Okay, my sources say it is a go as far as we know for Georgetown Speedway.  By Monday for sure it should be straight.  Everything has been done and finally allowed to go back and work on the track. The tentative date to open will be May 26, 2006.  Images from March of the track  5/14/06
• My sources have told me that all the plans, insurance, and other factors necessary to open Georgetown Speedway have been set and filled the obligated duties to run the track. The green go stands with the owner's decision that all details wanted or full filled have been met to his satisfaction. Every effort to get the track going on this end has been done. This is the last detail to get the track running. If all goes well, maybe Memorial Day weekend will be the opener.  4/30/06
