Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Announces Bonus Money Program for
Local/Regional Participants
LEXINGTON, KY (December 22, 2006)- Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officials
have announced a special bonus money program for local and regional drivers that
race with the Series in 2007 beginning at the March 31st event at Brownstown
Speedway and concluding at the First Annual “Diamond” at Lucas Oil Speedway May
11-12th. The bonus money program will give an additional $600 to the highest
finishing local/regional driver in the A-main at a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series event as long as that specific driver competed in 3 or less Lucas Oil
Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events in 2006.
This Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series bonus as well as the recently announce
“Road to Wheatland Bonus” and “K&N Filters Loyalty Bonus” programs are just
another step in the commitment to the sport of dirt late model racing by Lucas
Oil Products to help strengthen the sport and provide the local and regional
racer additional bonus monies during the early part of the 2007 season.
This bonus money program is another program that will lead to the First Annual
“Diamond” being held May 11th-12th at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland MO. The
100-lap “Diamond” will pay $25,000 to win with an additional bonus of $10,000 to
the winner if that driver attends every Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
sanctioned event in 2007 leading up to the May 11- 12th event.
“Lucas Oil continues to strive to strengthen the sport of dirt late model racing
and reward drivers who follow the Series in 2007. Not only does Lucas Oil want
the national touring drivers to benefit on the series but this program will give
local racers incentives to participate with the Series in 2007 as well”, stated
Spencer Wilson, Series Director.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series was founded in 2005 and has seen a steady
growth in the two years of their existence to become the premier dirt late model
touring series in the country. The series sanctioned 33 events at 22 different
race tracks in 16 different states in 2006. A total of 652 drivers entered at
least one series event with 17 different drivers winning an event on the series
in 2006. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series averaged 59 cars per event the
highest of any touring series in the country.

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Lucas Oil Speedway Announce the “Road
to Wheatland” Bonus
LEXINGTON, KY (December 19, 2006) - Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the
Lucas Oil Speedway Officials are pleased to announce the first huge event at
the Lucas Oil Speedway on May 11th & 12th sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late
Model Dirt Series. The 1st Annual “Diamond” will pay $25,000 to the winner
with a possible $10,000 “Road to Wheatland” Bonus to the winner if the
driver that wins the event has attended every Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt
Series event beginning with the 31st Annual “East Bay Winternationals” at
East Bay Raceway in Tampa FL. through the May 11th & 12th sanctioned event
at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland MO.
Lucas Oil Speedway and Series officials have put together this mega event at
the track named “The Diamond of Dirt Tracks” to showcase the newly renovated
race track located in Wheatland, MO, which in less than a year of operation
is already considered to be one of the premier dirt track facilities in the
nation. Lucas Oil Speedway is a 3/8th mile, semi-banked clay oval, which is
showcased with MUSCO Stadium lighting system which provides camera ready
lighting for news and TV coverage, "award winning" audio system featuring
all Bose speakers, stadium style seating, 21 luxury VIP suites, Track
Treasures gift shop, the Diamond Bar, Diamond Café and Dining area,
children’s playground, a slick track Go-Cart rental facility and 28’x15’
High resolution Video board located outside turn 3.
With the $10,000 “Road to Wheatland” Bonus money added to this event, the
winner of the event could take home $35,000. The bonus money is set to
reward a driver that has had perfect attendance on the 2007 Lucas Oil Late
Model Dirt Series. Drivers that attend every event on the Series schedule in
2007 leading up to this event will be eligible for the bonus money. The
“Road to Wheatland” Bonus is in addition to the recently announced “K & N
Filters Diamond Loyalty Bonus Program” which is set to reward “travel money”
to ten additional drivers beyond the season-long top ten Winners Circle
program at scheduled events prior to the 1st Annual “Diamond” May 11th &
12th.

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Announces K&N Filters Loyalty Bonus Program
LEXINGTON, KY (December 18, 2006) - Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
officials are excited to announce a new bonus program for competitors that
participate in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2007. The “K & N
Filters Diamond Loyalty Bonus Program” will reward participates that follow
the Series schedule and attend each points event from the “31st Annual East
Bay Winternationals” at East Bay Raceway in Tampa, FL. through the recently
announced May 11-12 “1st Annual Diamond” event at the Lucas Oil Speedway in
Wheatland, MO.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series winners circle program will pay the top
ten drivers in the 2007 Championship Points standings after the events at
East Bay Raceway $600 each that attend the next sanctioned event at
Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown IN “The Icebreaker” on March 31st. The K&N
Filters Bonus Program will pay an additional $600 each to the ten highest
points drivers from the final 2006 Championship Points standings that attend
the Brownstown IN event that are not in the top ten after East Bay. This
bonus money will be paid out at each Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
sanctioned event and will conclude at the May 11-12th mega-event at Lucas
Oil Speedway.
This program along with the normal Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series winners
circle money program will reward twenty drivers at every Lucas Oil
sanctioned event a bonus of $600 extra above the purse winnings at each
event they attend. This program is set to reward drivers that maintain
perfect attendance during the early portion of the 2007 Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series schedule. Only drivers that attend every event on the Series
schedule through the May 11-12 event at Wheatland MO will be eligible for
this bonus money.

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Releases 2007 Race Schedule
LEXINGTON, KY - Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have
released 36 confirmed dates for the 2007 racing season. The season will kick
off once again with the 31st Annual East Bay Winternationals at East Bay
Raceway Park in Tampa, FL from February 5-10. It will be the third year that
the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has sanctioned the Winternationals at
East Bay.
In 2006 the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series led all dirt late model
sanctioning bodies with an average car count of 59 entries per event and
over 600 different drivers raced with the Series in '06. In 2006 there were
33 events contested in 16 different states with 17 different event winners
gracing victory circle.
The 2007 season for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will visit 15
states with many of the same venues hosting events again in '07. After East
Bay the series will once again visit one of the legendary tracks in dirt
track racing the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN for the "Indiana
Icebreaker" which will pay $10,000 to win. Earl Pearson, Jr. of
Jacksonville, FL the two time and defending Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
National Champion scored his first ever Brownstown victory in the '06
edition of the event.
A couple of new mega events will be added to the Series' 2007 slate with the
3rd Annual "99" at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY on May
4th and 5th. One week later, May 11th and 12th, the First Annual "Diamond"
will take place at “The Diamond of Dirt Tracks”, Lucas Oil Speedway in
Wheatland, MO. The 3rd Annual “99” pays $24,999 to win while the 1st Annual
“Diamond” will reward the winner $25,000.
Four other events during the season that will pay $15,000 or more to win
including the "Jackson 100" at Brownstown (IN) Speedway in August, the
"Hillbilly 100" at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV which again
pays $25,000 to win, the "RaceFest" at West Virginia Motor Speedway in
Mineral Wells, WV which pays $20,000 to win and the "Dixie Shootout" at the
Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA where the winner will pocket $15,000. All
four of those events were sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
in 2006.
A total of six new venues will be hosting Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
events for the very first time in 2007, including Duck River Speedway in
Wheel, TN, North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA, Talladega Short Track
in Talladega, AL, Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC,
Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, OH and Volunteer Speedway in Bulls
Gap, TN.
"We are very pleased with the way our 2007 schedule has come together," said
Series Director, Spencer Wilson. "We are working hard with promoters to
establish a schedule that will be attractive to the most race teams, while
also reaching as many race fans as possible."
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is currently seen on SPEED Channel with
12 events and one '06 season in review telecast to be shown during the

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series from Florence Speedway on SPEED December 16
and 17
LEXINGTON, KY - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series continues its SPEED
Channel broadcasts during the month of December with the airing of the Ralph
Latham Memorial from the Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Saturday Night,
December 16th and Sunday, December 17th.
The event will air at 7:30 PM Eastern/6:30 PM Central on Saturday, December
16th and re-air on Sunday, December 17th at 11:30 AM Eastern/10:30 AM
Central. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will follow one of the highest
rated programs on SPEED Channel the Lucas Oil on the Edge program, which
airs a half hour before the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series takes to the

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Press Conference at PRI Show Thursday

LEXINGTON, KY (December 12, 2006)- The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will
hold a special press conference at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI)
Trade Show on Thursday December 14th at 11AM in the media press conference
room. Series officials will make several announcements in regards to the
upcoming 2007 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series season along with sponsorship
and driver announcements.
Series race director Spencer Wilson is excited about the announcements that
will be made at the press conference. “Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
officials have worked hard during the off-season to better the Series in
2007 for everyone including the sponsors, fans, promoters and the racers.
We’re very excited about the announcements that we will be making at the PRI
Show”, stated Wilson.
Several Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series drivers have teamed up with new
owners for 2007 and will be in attendance at the press conference to
announce their new team and plans for 2007. 2005-2006 Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series Champion Earl Pearson Jr. will be at the press conference with
his new team owner Bobby Labonte to announce their plans for the 2007 racing
season. Sunoco Race Fuels representatives will also be at the press
conference to announce their involvement in dirt late model racing in 2007
as well.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series was founded in 2005 and has seen steady
growth in the two years of their existence to become one of the nation’s
premier dirt late model touring series. The Series sanctioned 33 events at
22 different race tracks in 16 different states in 2006. A total of 652
drivers entered at least one Series event with 17 different drivers winning
an event on the Series in 2006. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
averaged 59 cars per event the highest of any touring Series in the country
in 2006. The Series also has just released their SPEED Channel broadcast
schedule with 12 race events and one season review special to be shown every
Saturday night at 7:30PM EST through the months of December running through
March of 2007.
Team Lucas along with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will have a huge
presence at the PRI Show located at booth numbers 341-347. Earl Pearson
Jr.’s 2006 Championship car will be on display along with information and
representatives from the Series to answer questions about the 2007 season.

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on SPEED Channel This Saturday, December
9th
LEXINGTON, KY - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series hits the airwaves for
the second consecutive Saturday as the final night of the 2006 30th Annual
East Bay Winternationals from East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL will be
shown on the SPEED Channel. The racing action from Tampa, Fl will air at
7:30 PM Eastern/6:30 PM Central following one of the most popular programs
on SPEED, the Lucas Oil On the Edge program. A repeat of this broadcast will
also air on Sunday, December 10th at 11:30 AM Eastern/10:30 AM Central
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on SPEED features in-depth driver
profiles, exciting in-car camera footage and wheel-to-wheel racing action
from the 2006 racing season. The coverage of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt

SPEED Channel Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series December TV Schedule
LEXINGTON, KY - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on SPEED Channel will
begin its December broadcast schedule this Saturday night December 2nd.
There will be four Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series shows on SPEED Channel
in the month of December. The events will air at 7:30 pm eastern time
immediately following the very popular Lucas Oil “On The Edge” program.
East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL will kick off the program schedule with
the Winternationals showing on December 2nd and 9th. The Ralph Latham

Earl Pearson, Jr. Crowned Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Champion at 2006
Awards Celebration
INDIANAPOLIS, IN--The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series concluded a
successful racing season on Saturday Night, November 18 with their 2006
awards celebration held at the beautiful Indianapolis Downtown Marriott.
Earl Pearson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL was officially crowned the 2006 Lucas
Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion for the second consecutive
year. Award recognition and point fund money were handed out to the top ten
in points with special awards announced during the night. Lucas Oil Late
Model Dirt Series announcer James Essex was the emcee of the night as
recognition was given to the Sponsors, Staff and Promoters of the tracks
that the Series participated at this season.
Pearson captured three series wins this year with the Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series with those victories coming at Brownstown, Cedar Lake and Tyler
County. Pearson competed in 33 events recording 19 top five finishes, 26 top
ten finishes and three Comp Cams Fast Time Awards during the campaign.
Pearson and the Dunn-Benson Ford Motorsports Team is owned by Carlton and
Kemp Lamm of Dunn, NC who were recognized as the Championship Car Owners.
Crew chief for the Dunn Benson team Jason Fitzgerald was honored as the
Series "Lucas Oil Crew Chief of the Year". Other team members who were
recognized at the ceremony were Matt Langston and Regan Cobb. Pearson also
captured the Sunoco Race Fuels "Race for Gas" award. Pearson utilized a
MasterSbilt Chassis Ford Fusion with a Larry Wallace prepared racing engine.
Don O'Neal of Martinsville, IN finished second in the Lucas Oil Late Model
Dirt Series standings. Donnie Moran of Dresden, OH was third and was the top
competitor in the "Comp Cams Fast Time Award." Scott James of Lawrenceburg,
IN was fourth and named the Allstar Performance Hard Charger. Matt Miller of
Waterville, OH rounded out the top five points this season.
Steve Casebolt of Richmond, IN finished sixth in the Series standings and
was also honored as the 2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series "Rookie of the
Year". Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN led the Series with nine wins and
took seventh place and also earned the K&N Engineering "Clean Pass Award”.
Freddy Smith of Seymour, TN was eighth in the final standings followed by
Michael England of Glasgow, KY and Darren Miller of Chadwick, IL.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned 33 events in 2006 at 22

Late Model Dirt Series "Chassis Builder of the Year" as Tader and Jerilyn
Masters were on hand to accept the award.
Lucas Oil VP Bob Patison spoke of the State of the Series and pledged Lucas
Oil Products continued support of its Dirt Late Model Series while making a
sample presentation of the upcoming SPEED TV broadcasts. Patison announced
that Lucas Oil has acquired its own production studio to benefit the Series
competitors and gave an update on the status of the new Lucas Oil Stadium in
downtown Indianapolis, briefly outlining benefits the Series will receive
with Lucas Oil Products new relationship with the Indianapolis Colts.
Veteran promoter and Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series advisor Mike Swims
gave insight to the audience of the continued success of the Series.
In other series news the SPEED Channel television broadcast schedule has
been released with 12 taped events and a special year in review show to air
on Saturday Nights at 7:30 pm Eastern time following the Lucas Oil on the
Edge program. The first event to air will be from East Bay Raceway Park in
Tampa, FL on December 2. East Bay's final night of the '06 Winternationals
will air on December 9 with the Ralph Latham Memorial from Florence (KY)
Speedway to be shown on December 16. To wind up the month of December the
Masters from Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI will be broadcast on

Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Awards Celebration to be Held on November
18 in Indianapolis
LEXINGTON, KY - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series 2006 Awards Celebration
will be held on Saturday Night, November 18, 2006 at the Indianapolis
Marriott Downtown located at 350 Maryland Street. The Top 10 in the final
2006 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Points Standings, the top Lucas Oil
Rookies and other Special Recognition Awards will be handed out during the
celebration.
Earl Pearson, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL will be officially crowned the 2006
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Champion for the second consecutive year.
