DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
Good amount of cars or the relative same, except for the Late Models? Only 10 cars were there. I've never seen that few there?
Norman Short had the new car at DIS tonight. Mod heat 1 had Glen Reed & Jamie Mills not making it to the track, Mills did get to join in the feature, but Reed did not. Larry Crouse Donnie Radd, & Eddie Collins all only got 7-10 laps in before the were out. Lap 17 Matt Jester had troubles and out lap 17. Drew Simmons had a big ball of smoke blow out the rear on lap 20 and Glen Richards was out the next lap. All had some kind of mechanical troubles. Lap 17 Ricky Johnson and Chuck Tucker may have had contact, as they both left the tracks with flats.
The points battle is really close in a in the modified classes, on the start of tonight's events Mills, and Wilkins are a mere 1 point a part. I have not seen the updates for Sat. nights action with the season ending soon, will be interesting to see unfold. Wilkins had the fastest lap of the night 19.068 seconds and 94.399 MPH on lap 15.
Obits: Hattie "Ann" Gravenor passed away today at home,
she was 90 yrs old. She had been a little ill with her diabetes and her body was
just wore out I was told.
Prayers & Thoughts For Jeff Patilla, Ricky Johnson, and any of the Gravenors,
Patilla & Johnson family. She was the grandmother of Jeff & Ricky. She had a son
Mike Gravenor, that preceded her in death. She was a avid race fan and had been
for many years.
Gary Simpson's first year in late model racing has been very good to him.
Simpson won his second race last night and is leading in points for the
Redbud69racing.com Rookie Award in Late Model sponsored by AutoWorld of Delmar,
DE. David Hill did not start in the heat, but did do some hot laps before
the feature, yet Hill only got around 5 laps in; not sure what the problem was.
Both Jack Mullins, Jr. and Grant Ireland had last week off from AC Delco TSS Mod feature, Mullins won and Ireland finished 7th. Must have helped both of them get back to racing. Ryan Walls only completed 5 laps before his night ended, as Richie Walls, Sr. struggled and headed to the pits too, not sure if contact was made or not.
Rookie Ross Robinson continues to dominant with his 9th win, it doesn't matter where he starts. Kelly Putz was really strong early and finished 3rd. Justin Breeding first night on the track in TSS Late Model and finished 9th. Steve Bunting returned to the track in the #20 that Brooks Fleetwood drives. Bunting lost his motor early in the year and has not been racing.
Erik McKinney had his brand new TSS Late Model car, looking sharp with #V75 glowing.
Curt Miles raced against his Father Kirk Miles, for the first time tonight. The son has been running on Friday nights at Middleford Speedway in Mod Lite Jr. class.
Ray Everham is suppose to be at Delmar this Saturday, Sept 23, 2006 with NASCAR at Dover. He was to appear in June with Erin Crocker but rained altered the night. So not sure who else will be coming. Everham wants to drive a modified that night. Also the URC Sprints will appear for the last time this year this weekend.
MIDDLEFORD
Plagued with rain ended the night before they even started.
Justin Breeding #27 Mod Lite Jr. current points leader went
to DIS to try out his new TSS Late Model. Breeding plans to finish out at
Middleford this year and making the switch for next season.

Had a "Run what you Brung" with both modifieds and late models racing together. Richard Jarvis, Jr. won and was very fast I was informed, along with Ricky Elliott, and Scott Haus. There were 19 cars for the feature with $3000 pay day. Both crate classes ran, Joseph Watson won the mod, and Ricky Elliott won the late. Yes, I did say Ricky Elliott. He was driving the Billy Mellon # 56; heard though the car did suffer some damage.
Jack Mullins, Jr. was in the top five when he had trouble and flipped wrecking his car finishing 21st in the 24 car field. Andrew Mullins ran a crate TSS Late at GT & DIS this weekend, Andrew is a 250 & 270 cc micro racer from Middleford Speedway.
This week GT will have the big blocks mods on hand, September 22, will be Melvin Joseph Memorial Night, and the Vintage cars are scheduled to return.
I confirmed that the admission prices for Georgetown general admission did rise to $12. Track hot line 302-856-7415.

20 Modifieds were on hand. Drew Simmons pulled in the infield after just 2 laps. Glen Reed, and Tim Millman had mechanical problems with only 9 laps in for Reed, and Millman with just 14 laps.
Norman Short, Jr. drove the Coulburne’s back up car because his car was not ready. Short had problems with his new car at GT, and still had work to do to it.
The Late Model racing had a good field but 5 cars did not get to start for various problems. G.G. Messick had an electrical and not sure what was wrong. Kerry King was strong in the heats, but on the start of the feature, he slammed the right quarter panel front stretch just out of turn 4, and ending his night on lap 8.
Richard Jarvis had the fastest time with 18.729 seconds and 96.108 MPH in heat 1, in the feature he stilled turned a fast laps of 18.91 seconds and 95.188 MPH.
Ryan Walls had a new TSS Mod teaming up with support Mark & Ray Huffman Racing with plans to start driving a late. Walls has run a few small blocks races at Bridgeport in recent weeks for Huffman Racing. Jeff Brown was back in action in a TSS Mod at both tracks. Another driver Richard Paugh made his first visit Sat in a TSS Mod; he use t drive Thunder cars.
Ross Robinson claimed his 7th TSS Late win, Steve White took his 8th win in Mod Lites. Pat McNeal won his first Little Lincoln feature for 2006.

Ricky Elliott won Late Model feature. Bobby Watkins TSS Late Model, Joseph Watson TSS Mod, and Ron Wilson. (For those that understand what I am talking); I was informed that Wilson did go to victory lane. Good!
MIDDLEFORD Tyler Reed #72 won his second Mod Lite Jr. feature, but the first was a non-points event. Reed made the switch from go-karts at the US 13 kart Club Track to the Mod Lite Jr.
DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
Mod - Norman Short, Jr. took a wild ride on the start. As the cars came out of turn 4, (Short started in the 5th position) on to the straight away, has Short's car shoot across the track getting up in the air and hard roll over just short of the flag stand. Short bit the inside of his month, and complained of pain in his side. Short was not very happy after he rolled and got out of the car. I did not get to talk to Short to ask what happened, did he have a little help, or something broke, not sure? He was taken to the hospital to be checked out. At the time of this writing, I had not received any updates on how he is doing.
Still no laps in on the restart. This time before the lap was complete, Ricky Johnson got around in turn 3 and was on the hook. Short and Johnson may have had contact on the start? Neither were available for comment. Third restart worked this time. On lap 5 VanGorder got around in turn 4.
Points leader H. J. Bunting went in the pits during the caution on lap 5. Contact with Johnson earlier? Don't know. Only 20 cars and good racing. Couple invaders when quite a few tracks fell to Mother Nature. Scott VanGorder, John Keller, and Scott Ambruster. Keller was the driver that had a bad wreck during the 2005 champ show. Keller said the car he brought tonight was actually the same car.
Late - Richard Jarvis Jr. lost a motor while leading at half way through; he took the lead before lap 5.
Mark Williams lost a fuel pump belt on lap 13.
Only 13 Late Models Saturday night but some great racing action. The top 5 finishers switched to front positions the working through the top 10 with really good battles going on with Hill, KP, Simpson, Jarvis, and Lingo. Anthony Rushing struggled around half way and was around in turns 3 & 4, and took the car to the pits. Hill had the lead after Jarvis broke, but Hill was fast and right on Jarvis's back.
Once out front, Hill was gone. Lingo was gaining on Hill in the closing laps but Hill was flawless to the end. I don't thing anyone could have got by Hill. Hill has struggled this season with good luck or bad. But after wrecking a few weeks back, Hill was determined to win, with such a hungry drive for that win since it was the first of the season. For those that don't know, Hill usually has earned a bit of wins. But it is as they always say, everything has to be synchronized too, in racing or for that night. Driver right on and his/her skills, the car hooked up and handling, the track, adding that great factor of a little bit of luck all goes into racing. Great race guys!!
TSS Mod - Joseph Tracy has having a super second year in the AC Delco TSS Modified class. He has been knocking on the door each week all year, trying to get his first career win and got it to night. Great job!
Tracy and Richie Walls, Sr. actually got hooked together on the start before the lap was completed, but got out from one another, funny part they were running 2nd & 3rd. Laps 4 - 7 had Tracy and pole sitter Tommy Evans nip and tuck until lap 7 when Tracy took the lead. Lap 9 had action for with Evans and Brad Trice battling for 2nd place. Trice took the spot before he reached turn 3. Lap 12 Evans and Ryan Walls fought for fifth.
From that point on, the feature really had a change in the racing with Grant Ireland and Jack Mullins, Jr. having a bit of a racing issue between. The two made contact on a few occasions the latter of the race to the point that Mullins retaliated with frustration by ramming his car into the right rear of Ireland. Ireland got up on two wheels (left front and rear side) and Mullins gave just one more little nudge and Ireland was over on the roof. Mind you the two cars were barely moving when this took place, but it did enough damage both were out. They looked like two monster trucks going over one another or rolling off the ramp onto one another. I'd hate to be in their shoes.
TSS Late Model - Kevin Scott, Jr. held the lead until a yellow sounded on lap 10 for a car around so the lap was not in. Restart again Scott got a good run to hold off 2nd place challenger Ross Robinson, but caution waved before the lap was in with another car getting around. This time Ross Robinson got the good start and he did not look back to win his 7th in his rookie year.
Mod - Lite - Just at half way Herb Tunis took the lead from Randy Hill, Jr. Hill blew his motor or had something major during the feature on lap 13 it started to smoke in turn 3. Tunis lead until yellow was out for Hill, on the restart Bada took the lead bringing Steve & Tim White along for 2nd and 3rd. Last lap Steve and Bada rode wheel to wheel, and side by side to the checkered with White just barely a nose ahead. It was Steve's 9th win.
US 13 Kart Club - the points battle is really close with only a few digits between the drivers. The last WKA sanction State race is Saturday Sept. 2.

GEORGETOWN
I got to go the first two Fridays of August and the track still continues to flourish. Good racing, good atmosphere, good family fun. The response from the fans, sponsors and community so far have very supported, and this is what we have to have to keep racing at Georgetown. The car count continues to grow. So thanks to all of you.
It was announced that the mighty winged URC Sprints will make the first appearance in 12 years, on September 1, 2006. The two crate classes will run and also have a race with drivers in both classes for a feature, and the Vintage cars will return.
Some of the news going on has I. G. Burton of Delaware (Car Dealer with several locations, Seaford, Milford, etc.) sponsoring a Crate Motor Engine Give-a-way at the end of the racing season. To qualify drivers in the two crate classes must display a I. G. Burton decal on both sides of their car in crate late model or modified classes. If the driver displays the decals, their name will go in a hat each week. At the last race in September or of the season, a name will be withdrawal from the hat and that person will win a brand new TSS GM Crate Motor.
Kevin McKinney made a debut in the #25 crate Late Model drove for the first time, and finished 9th. McKinney comes from Mod Lites. Herb Tunis had a little taste behind Sockriters Motorsports #32.
Some of the drivers invading to run up against the DE Guys, has been Rick Hulson, Mark Wilkins, Rob Ormsbee, Charlie Woolford, Gary Hager, Jimmy Chester, Billy Pauch, Kenny Brightbill, Ryan Godown...and more.
Ryan Walls has won 3 times at GT but will be running at Bridgeport on Friday nights small block class. Joseph Watson has won 3 TSS Mod features. Both Joseph and brother Jordan just started in this class July and both really been pretty impressive. To just do well in your first few races is a goal for any driver, but to have 3 wins and 1 win for Jordan is quite a bit better. Both come from micro racing and only 16 & 18 years old.
This weekend Aug. 25 will be Super Late Models, TSS Late Model, and TSS
Modified along with the Little Lincoln Vintage cars. Gates Open: 5:00 PM,
Drivers Meeting: 6:30 PM, Warm Ups: 7:00 PM,
Admission is $12.00, Pits $25.00, Children under 12 FREE. Track Hotline:

Gary Simpson finally picked up his first career win in Super Late Models, I say finally because Simpson has been a threat all season. Simpson started this season full Late Model after driving Big Block Modified's for some years. Simpson has just about had a top five finish every week. For first year in this class, he has been supreme driving and been a force with all features.
Lou Johnson finished 4th but could not make it to the scales when the A-Arm broke and he had to be towed to the scale.
The feature was a non-stop caution free 20 laps with a 6.52 mins. event. It was a good race, Simpson starting leading on lap 4 and was gone way out front once there. But lurking behind were strong cars as well, but he pulled off an excellent race.
Norman Short broke a shock tower in the feature while running 4th. Bobby Wilkins was behind the wheel tonight.
Mark Byram will now be the driver of the #55 Keith Coulbourne Mod. Donny Radd had been driving the #55 this year , but both had different direction in which way they wanted to go for the future and so mutually agreed to part now. Just as Will Brown and H. J. Bunting parted a little while back. It was not a problem of performance, just different goals. We all know that happens in racing all the time, look at NASCAR. Jeremy Mayfield and Ray Everham although it may not have been a agreed parting.
Joe Dekutoski returned Saturday to run in the clay with #100J.
Tommy Evans had his back tire ands wheel broke during the first lap and out of the clay.
Eric Vent made a first time appearance to start running in the TSS Modified this week in the number 86. Snookie's old number was 86 if I remember that correctly from photos sent to Redbud's Classics. Eric has been running in Micro at Middleford Speedway. Eric's friend Chad Clark plans to run in this calls next season. Clark comes from Micros', they both ran 600cc last.
Kevin Scott, Jr. lead all 15 laps to claim his first win in the TSS Late Model Class. Kevin is a former go-karting driver and his first year in this class along with many other drivers from 14 to 17 years old.
Randy Hill, Jr. blew a head gasket before the feature, and qualifying to end his night early.
MISC DRIVER NEWS: Congratulations to Ricky Elliott and Cheryl for their joining in marriage Aug. 8, 2006. They were high school sweethearts and had planned to marry on Aug 8, many years ago but somehow parted and now have re-found one other. Also, congratulations to Donald Lingo, Jr. and Amanda for joining in matrimony as well.
And joy to Adam Jarrell and wife Jana for having a baby boy July 13, 2006. Also Chris Sockriter and Ashley with their new bundle of joy Cameron born Aug. 9

DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
If you were not there Saturday night, you missed some really great racing. The track was in excellent form with 2-3 groove racing all night. High side had bite, low side worked. The drivers put on a great show of racing. The Modified & Late Model races were really good, not to take anything away from the other classes as their racing was jammed pack with action as well.
Donnie Radd picked up his 2nd win in a row. The Cintas Uniform/Coulbourne Farms/Bicknell no. 55 was not to Radd's likings for the heats despite a second place position in heat 2. But changes made must have really brought the car in as Radd took the checkered.
Tim Millman had a new motor for the no. 410, but early on before the heats, Millman said "This is a new motor, but the sounds I'm hearing don't sound good." He qualified 4th in the 2nd heat, but with only 6 laps in Millman had to leave the field.
Late Model action had some heavy hitters, Jarvis was in town, Ricky Elliott, Ray Davis, Jr., and regular track drivers, David Hill, David Pettyjohn, Kenny Pettyjohn, and Gary Simpson, were all in the yard. Dave Hertz finally made his first appearance to DIS this year. David Pettyjohn returned with a new motor after being absent a few weeks.
It was the quick draw McGraw of Donald Lingo, Jr. that stole the show with his second victory for the year. Lingo was strong in the heats but with only 3 laps in the heat he rolled to a stop topside of turn 2. The team broke a shock tower and pieced it together to sliver through the pack from 17th starting position to claim the victory in the feature.
Lingo worked the high side and glided through the pack. On lap 5 a caution waved, and KP on the restart was in 4th but blew by the top three as they were sitting still coming out of turn 2 and he took the lead before turn 3. It looked as if KP was going to be the man to beat. Jarvis broke an axle with only 12 laps in. Ricky Elliott was in a different car #20? The top 10 cars all switched around in place with good side by side the whole event.
John Curtis was in a wreck breaking the steering link in the TSS Mod feature. Quite a few made contact in that race. Jordon Watson almost got up and over as Billy Carr did also in turn 1 when Watson hit the tire head bouncing him in the air and across the track in front of several drivers. Some drivers involved were Carr, Curtis, John Wynn, Chris Hitchens, Tim Trimble, & Herbie Hemple.
TSS Late Model/Street had Rookie Ross Robinson finally working out a few kinks to take his 4th win for the year. Kevin Scott, Jr. continues to be consistent to finish in the top 10.
Dan Feidler brought his car in tonight detailed by P & S Designs looking pretty sharp. Only during the qualifying Feidler saw a bit of smoke ease out the hood and decided not to take any chances and shut it down. It turned out to be a power steering leak and it was fixed. But his luck was not good when he got tagged and spun on the front stretch ending up facing the wrong direction.
The Little Lincoln Vintage club was there to put on a good 10 lap feature. Ron Wilson took his 3rd win of the season after starting on the point. However, Wilson did not bring the car to victory lane with all the other winners of the night? He was still there? They announced for the Little Lincoln feature winner to report to victory lane. If you aren't proud you won, why even bother to race? If your lucky to have some fans, that is a disappointment for them as well. Just my opinion, driver conduct unbecoming, I say, and should be stripped of the win? What do you think? It should be a man law? The Little Lincoln's will be at Georgetown Speedway Aug 25.

GT ran BB Modifieds July 7, and what a great show it was on the big 1/2 mile oval. Keith Hoffman picked up his first win at GT in BB action. Bobby Watkins picked up the win in TSS Late Model action and Joseph Watson 39, (comes from Micro racing along with his brother Jordon) won the TSS Modified feature. Jamie Mills 30, won the first heat and Billy Pauch won the 2nd heat in the Will Brown number 1W. Billy Carr 29 won the first heat in TSS Mod action and Tim Trimble had his best finish in a heat with 2nd. Joe Warren* 11, has really been strong his first year in this class coming from Mod Lites, and has really put on the power winning his heat.
Bobby Firth run BP and visited GT, and placed a 9th place finish. Howard O'Neal took a wild ride in the heats flipping in turn 3, forcing him to a back up car. Donny Radd was running hot and did not finish, Norman Short burned a value, and rookie Ross Robinson continued to struggle with problems and still unable to crack the code to get it going again until Saturday night; they reported a wire going from the started to the ignition had melted. Jamie Mills had running hot issues.
GT ran Late Models this week, with Richard Jarvis, Jr. 47, winning and the Saturday night feature at DIS winning the Super Late Model feature; Joseph Watson 30, won TSS Mod, and Sparky White 17, won the TSS Late Model and first career win at GT.

July 8, 2006 BB mod driver Joe Dekutoski in 101J made first show at DIS and finished 12th. The track was real heavy and super fast. Norman Short dropped in another motor on Saturday and takes the BB win. Tim Millman troubles continued when the water pump broke sending the fan through the radiator. Then this Sat. night a big white puff of smoke blinding all the drivers behind him and ending his night.
Jamie Mills continued with running hot with the water pump breaking after just changing it. Veteran Hal Browning has really had his share of bad luck to say the least in the last few weeks. But Hal says I'll be back. He broke a rear radius rod while 3rd in the feature, where he hit the front wall just under the flag stand on lap 12. Beau Wilkins had a flat tire in the heat and was in 3rd.
Street driver Bobby Williamson has been consistent in top 10 finishes so far this year. the cat was let out of he bag when Mike Michaelson turned out to be Dale Bounds driving in the # 17 Mod Lite Bucky McNatt held his first ever pole in a feature.
Camp Barnes was a big hit with a lot of cars and fans supporting the Delaware State Police & Camp Barnes, Inc. Only the qualifying, and 3 features were completed before the rain began to drop ending the night. Beau Wilkins represented DE very well with taking the win in BB action. Ricky Elliott continued his winning streak winning the Late Model feature, and the week before he won $20,000 at Clary's track in NC. Speaking of Clary's Ray Tucker runs there and Wayne County, and few other tracks south of us and was in town driving the Rick Whaley Super Late. Tucker had a good run going in qualifying until a flat when he was in the top 5.
Bill Brittingham won the Little Lincoln race. TSS Late/Street action looked to be a good score for Dale Bounds starting on the pole in the make race for the late models, but he only drifted further back. They reported they ripped the spline out of the rear. A quick fix trying to get a good connection were spoiled and did not last.
The Street Modified feature was made up July 15, with Joe Warren winning. The TSS Modified will make up their race next Saturday night, July 22; the Mod Lite will be made up on July 29. Jon Callway showed up in a TSS Late Model at GT on the 7th with Jason Dean driving, Sat. the 8th Callaway made his debut and finished 3rd in the feature. Billy Mellon had his TSS Late Model in action for the first time July 8.
Lou Johnson had the car getting hot again the same as last week, they thought they fixed it but nah. Beau Wilkins left the BB feature just after it started with ignition trouble, and Jamie Mills was plagued with more problems ending his night early. Donny Radd earned a well deserved win Saturday night in the Cintas, Keith Coulbourne's owned BB. Jack Mullins, Jr. racked up his 4th win in the TSS Mod feature and sported a new look since they had sold the sponsor restaurant. Randy Hill, Jr. picked up his first career win at DIS Saturday night.

Another good crowd, and show of cars, thank you to everyone supporting the track. Davey Sammons tested his URC on Friday. Winners were Ricky Elliott late Model, Ryan Walls TSS Modified, Bobby Watkins TSS Late Model, and Bill Brittingham in the Little Lincoln show.
DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
URC Sprints - 35 cars were on hand to try to qualify for the 24 positions. Kevin Welsh took his first win for the season. DNQ: either wreck or mechanical problems, Davey Sammons 79, Jamie Bodo 21B, Brian Brittingham 12, Dave Betts 22, Mares Stellfox 56M, Dave McGough 669, Mike Kostic 40, Bill Brian Jr. 00, Junior Martin 17, Scott McClaren 21, Gary Gollub 36.
Modified - Cliff Foskey picked up first win for 2006 and it was his sponsor's Sponsors Night of Scott's Furniture.
In the first heat, Norman Short, Jamie Mills, and Downs were 3 wide out of turn 2 and someone got loose causing a trickle down effect costing Short his car for the night, with a piece of the frame missing. Downs had a radius rod break but was able to fix it. Full field of modifieds were on hand tonight.
Tom Curtis had trouble and didn't run. Short drove the Eddie Collins in the feature.
Late Model - Ricky Elliott made his 3rd appearance and took home the 3rd win. Elliott also won at Georgetown Friday night as he made his second appearance there and took his 2nd win.
Lou Johnson had a nice stretch out front after the feature started and he sailed to the lead. By lap 4 Johnson was lapping Larry Meadows with Gary Simpson, Rick Whaley, and Richard Jarvis, Jr. following. Lap 10 the first yellow waved; Johnson didn't need that. Half way just before the yellow Johnson leads, Simpson, Whaley, Elliott, and Jarvis. On that restart Elliott flies into 2nd position and takes the lead near lap 13. Lap 16 after a yellow the top 5 were, Elliott, Johnson, Jarvis, Lingo, and Simpson for the single restart. Lap 18 Lingo & Jarvis battle for 3rd wheel to wheel with Jarvis taking 3rd as he came out of turn 4.
Jarvis was battling a power steering problem. It’s a great show these guys put on especially when all the regulars (Jarvis, Whaley) are here and they switch back and fourth for positions.
Dave Graber made his first trip to DIS in a while.
Kenny Pettyjohn was not at DIS as he lost a motor on Friday night at GT. David Pettyjohn still has him motors getting worked on so he was in the orange # 10 late model of G. G. Messick.
TSS Modified - Ryan Walls won his first feature at Delmar this night, but has won twice at Georgetown including Friday night.
Street Modified / TSS Late Model - Jon Callaway drove his new TSS Late Model and finished 4th. The car was David Pettyjohn's late model, and had the # 80, but Callaway will have the # 95 on it. It was his first appearance this year and first time in the car. Callaway is the 2005 Defending DIS Track Champion in Modified Lites; Jon also joins many of his race mates that have made the change, like Joe Warren, and Mike White. Skip Syester made a first trip to DIS.
The feature ran all 15 laps with no cautions taking a total of 5:45.964 minutes to finish and put on a great race. Joe Warren picked up his 2nd win at DIS.
Hal Browning said he was in a wreck on Friday and tore the car up pretty bad, Saturday the crew had fixed it the best they could but it was not enough.
Mod Lite - Keith Layton returned Saturday night after a bad wreck 2 weeks ago in his # 3 Mod Lite. He is doing well; he spent 2 days in the hospital for concussion and swelling of the brain. Layton said his helmet was cracked in 3 places and the face shield was crack.
Steve White picked up his 4th win.

GT finally got to race Friday night. The parking lot was full and so were the stands. The heats went smoothly but when the features began it brought out a good bit of yellows on the start. But rests assure it was some mighty fine racing going on.
Winners - BB Jamie Mills, LM Ricky Elliott, TSS Mod Ryan Walls, and TSS Late Joe Warren. Both Walls and Warren are in the first year in the TSS Modifieds.
"The Kid" Billy Pauch was there to repeat his last win, but fate would not allow it. During the heat a rod or some kind of rod trouble but was able to get it repaired to start the feature and that was all.
Scott Cross, Jerry Foster, Jamie Miller, Darryl Hills, Ray Kable, Jr., and Ricky Elliott were some of the out of towner late models.
Modified visitors were Mark Schweibinz, Ryan Godown, Keith Hoffman, Jim Scherer, Scott VanGorder, Art Adams, and Mike Illes.
This week the racing will continue with line up of Big Block Modifieds,
TSS Modified, TSS Late Model/Street crate classes. $2500 to win Big Block 25-lap

There were fewer cars at DIS this week, but a lot of the cars that were there were not at GT on Friday, and same for GT, a lot there were not at DIS on Saturday.
MODIFIED
Kelly Hastings was shaking down the back up car #85M, of Jake Marie Team.
During the 2nd heat Dutton was on the point, but as the cars reached turn 1 Ricky Johnson got a bit out of shape and the result had Beau Wilkins, Dutton, and Johnson both on the hook. Wilkins did return but laps down. Heat 1 had Steve Downs II, brake line break and he was able to fix it before the feature.
Donny Radd had a brand new Bicknell with the Coulbournes owned car, looking pretty sharp. They were testing it and had a little fuel pressure problem, and elected to use the back up car.
Johnson went to his back up car with the shock shaft and more broke, as Wilkins motor blew when he returned to the track in the heat and used the back up car. Norman Short had the battery die in the heats was able to correct the problem for the feature; he put on a fantastic show up front with Mills, and Bunting. In the feature Dutton tried to run but only 5 laps in before he bit the dust for the night.
LATE MODEL
The Late Model race was super good with only one yellow. Gary Simpson looked to be a winner until the only yellow around lap 14. The top 5 guys gave one hell of a race; I would compare it to the almost as good as WoOLMS race DIS held couple years ago. Ricky Elliot won under the flag stand on the last lap running off turn 4 by only .025, 1/ thousandths of a second.
David Hill finished in the top five, I'm sure that felt good compared to troubles the couple of runs. Kerry King had trouble with the value on top of the motor, and tries to enter pit exit but the cars steers to the embankment. King should have the car that flipped this coming week. Donald Lingo, Jr. was very strong until he lost his drive shaft around lap 14.
In the 2nd heat Jarvis car did not get up to speed on the start with Mike Williams all in the rear with no where to go. The cars drive line shaft that goes to the transmission broke. Jarvis was rolled off on the hook and sending for the back up car. The team went home and got back with the back up car so Jarvis would make the field. Good Work!
Ed Drurdy # 72, of Pasadena, MD visited DIS first time this year only to have mechanical woes and not run. Ted Taylor also had car troubles not to make the field.
Rob Ormsbee 119R also made the trip to DIS first time this season and finished 14th. Elliott wasn't as hooked up on Friday night but it was still a great performance.
Eric Reed was in the # 66 Mike Christopher's car, however I did not learn until later that it was him in the car. So I'll try to get the dirt, if he is returning in a late model or driving for Christopher or just a one time thing.
TSS MODIFIED
Richard White, Jr. had the pole and commanded the post. Some good racing with the top 10 and even better in top 5 drivers’ action. It was White's first win for 2006. Lap 6 White, Richie Walls, Ryan Walls, Jack Mullins, all come out of turn 4 looking for the first hole to groove. Ryan got tagged in the rear and has a flat tire and then 2 cars tangled in turn 2 bringing out the caution.
The restart had White leads Richie, Walls (26W) and Joseph Tracy. Mullins stepped to 2nd and Mark Byram went to 3rd. 1/2 way had White, Byram, Richie, Mullins, and Tracy. The 3rd through 5th were aiming for that second place spot with side by side action in turn 4 laps 11 -13th with Byram, Richie, and & Trice. Two laps shoot out left when a yellow waved. Good show guys, White wins, Mullins, Trice, Richie, & Byram.
Joe Tracy has continued to improve each week. Tom Evans had some type of mechanical troubles tonight.
STREET MODIFIED / TSS LATE MODEL CRATE
Rookie Kevin Scott, Jr. started on the point and led to turn 1 while 3-4 wide action developed behind him. Battling for 2nd were Kelly Putz, Joe Warren, Ross Robinson, and Hal Browning all the way to turn 3. One lap almost in as Putz comes out of turn 4 and a little bit out of shape as Robinson makes the turn and heads to front stretch, when Robinson got over the front wheel of Putz and Robinson hits wall hard, tearing his chances for any finish.
Half way Scott still leads to lap 10 working the inside groove, and a yellow was out for Manos. Restart Scott leads in to turn 1 & 2 on lap 13 and gets just a bit, out of shape coming out of 2 and Hal Browning captured the moment and slid right into that inside line to take first place.
Nice Run for rookie Scott, and fun to watch Hal working to sliver in for the win. Scott comes from go-kart racing this year. Good Clean racing!
New comer rookie Chris Baker returned to run in the old Jason Nibblett's car #88C but had mechanical failure not starting.
On start pole sitter Jody Cahall enters turn 3 and got around causing a big chain reaction. Aaron Bada got up and over landing on all fours in turn 4, and Mike Stratton no where to go gets heavy front end damage to follow in on the hook as well.
Restart Tunis lead lap 2 until McKinney got around in turn 4. This restart Tim White got around in turn 4 and Billy Mellon sent to the back for rough riding the announcer announced. Lap 5 Tunis and Steve White swapped leads. Lap 6 Dennis almost got around and Tim White no where to go and gets flat with contact; at half way Whites leads Tunis, Wilson, McKinney, Mellon.
Lap 8 was a wild lap for Keith Layton when he came out turn 2, slight bobble, and the car front end digs in sending him flipping in the air and a hard hit. Layton was taken to the local hospital after riding on the wrecker to the pits and was confused.

Both Tracks were rained out. GT will have the same line up as scheduled the last 2 weeks which Mother Nature won. $2500 to win Modified and Late Models; both TSS crate motors will be on the schedule with $500 to both the Modified and Street Modified& TSS Late Model crate.
DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
The track was really slick, and a lot of cautions but also some hot racing action.
Rookie Matt Jester, 62, big block modified, lost his motor in heats and ran in the TSS Modified number 79, that John Wynn races. Tim Millman once again ruled the track, but his car starting smoking with just a few laps in the books. Millman said about ˝ way thru he lost a header. Norman Short and Millman switched the lead 4 times in one lap. Short had mechanical trouble near the end and had to ease off finishing 10th.
Glen Richards, 98, has been getting stronger all season, he finished 11th in the feature, and won heat 2.
Barry Voss made his once appearance to DIS. Voss came to DE to race GT, but with the wash out he spent the night at DIS so he could run Saturday night.
Late Model had Rick Whaley definitely having a rough night. It started in the heats, Bob Geiger, 38, was on the pole just got a round in turns 1 & 2 and Whaley no where to go plowed into Geiger, busting the door frame on right side of car. In the feature, his bad luck just continued around lap 17. You could tell he was a little upset when he got around in turns 3 & 4, gets out of the cars and raising his helmet as to throw toward Vic Thomas as the cars are back around to the caution area.
KP picked up his 4th win of the season. The feature had good action up front with Rob Massey leading all but the last few laps. Massey leading started to slide sideways as he came into turn 2 on lap 17. His tail slips to one side then the other and makes the save to claim 2nd. David Hill was behind Massey when this took place getting Hill out of shape as he came out of turn 2, but he too makes a dynamite save, just he did loose 3rd position and dropped back to 7th in the end.
On the start Mike Wilkins comes out of turn 2 and lands resting on the back wall and ended his night.
David Pettyjohn has had to get motors fixed as Dale Lingo also was not running last night either.
TSS Mod had a big crash on the start taking out quite a few drivers, Andy Hammond, Mike White, Tim Trimble, Grant Ireland, Mike Hough, Ron Riccio, and Morris Tucker.
2005 AC Delco TSS Modified Track Champion Bobby Watkins is selling the car and made the switch to the Street Modified/TSS Late Model starting this week. He finished 5th. Also the Mike Michaelson # 7D is under pending determination of issue with the motor in the Harm - Harmonic Balance. A decision will not be made until Monday as to DQ the car or not; he finished 2nd tonight.
Rookie Billy Mellon will be going to TSS Late Class and leaving Modified Lite action, he has a car for sale ready to go.
Little Lincoln put on a great show, but during the last 2 laps Pat O’ Neal got around and Duke Walsen goes over the turn 1 & 2 with taking a hard hit with his head. He was checked at the local hospital, Nanticoke in Seaford, DE, and sent home, he is okay.
UPDATE: Monday Duke notified that he is okay, he was unconscious for a brief while and only remembers bits and pieces. The helmet is quite scratched, but not cracked all the way through, but a new one will be needed. Duke wants to thank all that helped him Saturday night.

GT opened and seemed to get a very positive start. The track was fast, and in great shape especially for the features. The stands were packed parking had cars filled in all the green, and considering the weather with rainouts all around the track it was a pretty good car count for opening night. After all it was all put together rather quickly to get the track ready for last Friday. They pulled it off and I am willing to bet a lot of drivers will want to try that fast clay oval.
The drivers put on a good show, and many hit the first track for the first time in their life. The rumors from the past that the track being fast was finally displayed, for a lot of visitors that have never seen the great racing from the past at GT. Billy Pauch won the BB Modified after chasing Ricky Johnson, with Johnson losing his brakes on lap twenty and having him to make a change in driving.
They run the 2 crate classes with 20 laps, I liked that, DIS is 15 laps. Let’s try to suggest 30 laps for the Super Late and BB Modified feature as some tracks do. This weekend the Super Late Models hit the track along with both crate classes. The track phone # is 302-856-7415, fax - 302-856-7416. This Friday GT will host the Super Late Models. Gates open 5PM, 7PM racing starts. Tracks web is www.georgetownspeedway.com and as always all your DE Tracks news at www.redbud69racing.com

Gates open 4:30 PM.
MODIFIED
Robert Dutton picked up his first win for 2006. Rookie Matt Jester & Norman Short won heats. Beau Wilkins has really been fast too.
Donny Radd, Tim Millman blew engines, Steve Dutton fell with mechanical woes.
Jeff Paulson visited DIS for time this year. Tom Curtis had a left front tire come off during heats, but made the field and finished 12th.
LATE MODEL
In the feature, Mike Wilkins on a restart of lap 3 got a little out of shape tagging Kerry King, who bounced off the front stretch wall. When King was bouncing off the wall he got into G. G. Messick, and then King bounced back into the wall just under the flag stand flipping over on the roof. Both drivers were unhurt.
David Pettyjohn was running 2nd when the engine gave him trouble and headed to the pits on lap 10.
Gary Simpson rookie started 15th and finished 2nd. This is his first year in Late Models and very strong every week. Simpson also didn't run any heats with mechanical trouble; sure must worked it out.
Rick Whaley was back at DIS. Mark Williams a rookie to LM had one of his best finishes with 6th.
K Pettyjohn continues to be flawless with his 3rd win. He also was voted as the Redbud69 recipient for the Headache Award for last week when he and Vic Thomas made contact. Visit the forum to vote for who you think deserves the Headache Award from tonight?
TSS MODIFIED
Brad Trice was a double winner last weekend with winning the TSS Modified on Friday night at GT, and then winning on Saturday night at DIS. Great job guys.
Tommy Evans started 3rd, and worked to get 2nd, to only ride a little too wide and shuffling back to 14th, to bring it back up to 3rd. Great job!
STREET MODIFIED / TSS LATE MODEL CRATE
Rookie Joe Warren took his first win in the TSS Late, Joe's a former Mod Lite class.
Young driver making a debut in the TSS Late Model this weekend was Travis Justice in the #4. He finished 7th on Friday and 9th Saturday at DIS. First time in any car classes; and he is one of the young guys that is running this year 16 or younger.
Steve Bunting had his engine go while qualifying and DNS. Eddie Williams showed up last week with a new car for him. I was told that it is one of Ricky Elliott's old car. (Don’t quote me for sure in that it is Ricky's car, I just didn't get to verify.) Williams finished 2nd in one of his best finishes.
Ricky Eskridge first time to track for this year. Neither Chris nor Shane Sockriter raced tonight. Chris received the Redbud69 Headache Award for the week before last.
MODIFIED LITE
The Mod Lite winner Brandon Dennis has been strong this year and collected his first win at DIS; he runs Middleford as well.
On the start, in turn 4 as they go green, Steve White and Randy Hill, Jr. make contact. White's car gets high up and flipping landing right side up on the pit exit to the track and front wall. Rookie Billy Mellon saw the action and moved to get out of the way as White's car landed smack dab pinning Mellon to the wall. No one injured. Mellon said he saw it all and was trying to get out of the way going high and I saw the car coming toward me before I cleared the turn.
Mike Hovatter made his way to DIS first time in #2, as
Rusty Dadds in #38. ![]()
Jon Callaway hasn't been to DIS, everyone misses, nor sure what he is racing or doing.
Slide For Five Winner Dylan Betts but post inspection had him disqualified for having tread on his tires. Victory went to Harlan Williams 764

Track was heavy. Ricky Johnson picked up first win for 2006. Beau Wilkins was fast in heats and on the track last night.
Heats won by Robert Dutton and Jamie Mills. Special Thanks to these guys for being a guest on RaceNite Live show hosted by Mark Potter, shows available on www.racetalklive.com.
Jamie has either won or finished in top 5 since the start of the season.
Heat 2 had 2005 DIS Rookie of the year Dale Hawkins taking a wild ride landing on the roof and end his night. Ashame, but Hawkins and Tom Curtis are running on a very low budget and no back ups. I was told the frame broke? A consolation race was formed but not needed with all cars qualifying.
LATE MODEL
20 cars run in a feature. 2 heats taking 7 cars each and a consi taking 6 cars.
Richard Jarvis, Jr. was at DIS with a new Lazer alcohol run late model & finished 4th..
Rick Whaley was home at DIS too; & finished 3rd Rick has been going to Wayne Cty. and Clary's in N. Carolina. David Hill only ran 11 laps, & I did not get to find out what happened.
Dale Lingo IV, was on the pole at the start, but Donald Lingo, Jr. took the lead right away. At halfway it was Donald Lingo, Jr., K. Pettyjohn, Lou Johnson, Jarvis, and Gary Simpson. Jarvis was on the move and passes Johnson for 3rd on lap 12.
Lap 14 leaders battling with some lap traffic slowing both Lingo & Pettyjohn giving KP little advantage to get to the tail of Lingo. Then a lap car Vic Thomas was trying to get to the inside out of the way for the leaders just as KP & Lingo are almost side by side for the lead out of turn 4. Thomas came right down in front to them clearing Lingo but catching KP nose and ending his nite.
When the field reaches lap cars, drivers are contacted by radio communications of the officials, telling them the leaders are near you and go to the inside of the track to get out of the way. I assume Vic did not know they were that close. Bad deal but stuff happens.
Lingo leads Jarvis who took second on the restart followed by Johnson, Whaley, D. Pettyjohn. Last 2 laps Jarvis is trying to reel in Lingo. Last lap in turn 2 Jarvis goes wide and looses momentum on the crest of the turn with Johnson running to take 2nd and with Whaley in 3rd. Jarvis collects and brought home in 4th. Lingo was very strong last few weeks and took his first win for 2006.
Gary Simpson has continued to stay strong running in this class with 4 tops 5's. Simpson last night had trouble not sure if in wreck or mechanical.
TSS MODIFIED
Jack Mullins, Jr. won for the second week in a row; Jack has had a few off nights so this helps a lot. This class continues to grow with 25 for the feature.
Richie Walls, Sr. started on the point. As the cars reached turn 2 Mark Byram in 2nd got around in front of remaining field, but luckily everyone pretty much miss him. Andy Hammond was on the hook so he may have tagged Byram or fell victim with no place to go.
Tonight was "Double Entry" Night where a driver can pay $100 bucks to race in another class that night and if won receive an extra $500 buckaroos. H. J. Bunting III competed in running Lance Mears TSS Mod to shake down the car and finished 13th.
Rookie Ryan Walls continues to be a front runner along with 2005 Defending DIS Champion Bobby Watkins. George Richardson made his first appearance for the year.
Ryan Walls*, Jerry L Carter, II* 46, Lance Mears 91W, John Wynn* 79, Brad Bradbury* 99C, Bobby Ballantine* 10, and Mike White* 37M will all be candidates for the Redbud69Racing.com Rookie of the Year title and plague sponsored by AutoWorld of Delmar, DE.
STREET MODIFIED / TSS LATE MODEL CRATE
Just to clarify the DQ last week for Daniel Freidler winner, a wire for the MSD box slipped off and the car only turned 5400. They are not allowed to be over 6000 but he was still dq. Also, last week was the last night your car could have non-soldered wires without penalty.
On the start last weeks winner Mike Wilson almost reaches turn 1 and somehow hits the barrier wall pretty hard and on the hook. The race restarted and Ross Robinson took the lead. Ross picked up his 2nd win tonight. This is his first year after coming from micros.
Gary Manos returned to DIS this year in a brand new TSS Late Model car looking really sharp. However, in the feature Gary comes off turn 2 just as lap one starts, and heads right into the wall hard ending his night before he got started. This gave Wilson a change to work on his car and return to the track just 2 laps down finishing 10th.
Lap 10 yellow waves as Michaelson got by Kelly Putz. Putz had some front end damage and Mike Michaelson was trying to tell him with his hand. Michaelson was sent to the pits for a consultation for rough riding, but explained what the gesture was for not to Putz.
MODIFIED LITE
Kirk Miles has really had a struggle this season. The last 2 weeks he has been having an electrical problems and the car just shuts down. Again, it happened just as the feature started ending his night.
Teammates Steve & Tim White started 7th & 8th and finished 1st & 2nd, continuing to be strong runners in this class. Richie Walls had another good finish in 6th.
LITTLE LINCOLN
2005 Rookie of the Year Little Lincoln driver Jamie Wagner & Duke Walsen both finished 3rd & 4th this week and the last time they ran May 6.

Okay, my sources say it is a go as far as we know for Georgetown Speedway. By Monday for sure it should be straight. Everything has been done and finally allowed to go back and work on the track. The tentative date to open will be May 26, 2006. Images from March of the track 5/14/06
URC SPRINT
Mighty Winged URC Sprints made their first appearance for this year with 35 cars taking the 25 spots to race. The track was great last night, slick but still a little tacky or spongey. 3 heats taking 6 cars in each heat and the B Main took 6 cars. Great show by everyone in the feature really switching up with action in the top 10 sprints.
Kramer Williamson ran a qualifying lap of 17.039 seconds and 105.64 MPH and was almost half track length ahead of everyone. The way he was rolling with 25 laps for a heat he may have just lapped the whole field.
Williamson started on the pole, with Mike Haggenbottom, Midge Miller, Bill Brian, Jr., Jon Eldreth 25. Both Brain Seidel, and Jason Clauss had some mechanical problems bringing out the yellow twice on lap 3 and 4. It was a single file restart the second restart as Eldreth and Brian battle for 3rd. By lap 5 defending 2005 URC Champion Curt Michael had moved into 5th after starting 11th.
A lot of change ups this year. Haggenbottom returned back to a URC in the # 54 6 Bostic
Brain Seidel is now driving the bright green #5G. Greg Coverdale returned to the series this year and driving Bostic #6 (Seidel old seat) seat this year after racing in a asphalt division. . A few guys I have not seen before were Will Urkuski 14, Adam Gordon 2W, Brook Weibly 56 and Jamie Bodo 21B. Trevor Lewis was in # 56 last year and Kevin Welsh was in # 2W. Chris Coyle is in the # 92 instead of the # 54.
Rookies this year are Davey Sammons* coming from 600cc Micros to the more power of the URC Series, as Rob Stillwagon* 89, Jeff Fithian* 54P are to rookies.
Special thanks to Davey Sammons for doing an interview on RaceNight live radio & internet show available at www.racetalklive.com.

Tim Millman since the beginning of the season cam in 5th opening night, 4th the week after, 2nd last week and a week this week. Tim also said "we had a week where it rained so that may have been 3rd that week." Anyway it is a banner of a good streak and talent this year. Also the first one to win other than Jamie Mills.
Beau Wilkins Millman won the heats. On the start Ricky Johnson took the lead follow by Millman.
Bridgeport had a rain out and Chad James 27, made a visit to DIS. He had trouble in the heat and not able to take his spot in the main. Chris Glanden filled in for Craig Ott T10, who was ill.
LATE MODEL
The Late Model feature was a hot one! As Randy Jackson from American Idol says " We got a hot one up in here tonight" What a great action race with passing and some great side by side racing with all the front runners, which was half the field. They were three wide on the start with Elliott, K Pettyjohn, and Rob Schirmer. Then wide down the backstretch and 3/4 wide in turn 3 with KP, Lou Johnson, Donald Lingo, Jr., and rob Massey. Elliott started 10th and worked the outside gaining spots each lap and so was KP, Lingo, and Johnson. At half way KP moved to 2nd, the top 8 battled and what a show it was.
Donald Lingo had one of his best runs to finish, Johnson, Gary Simpson, and KP, David Hill, all swapped places throughout the entire 20 laps. Simpson has continued to be a force in his first year of driving Late Model.
Ricky Elliott forego the visit to Clary's this week to do some testing at DIS. It may have just paid off as he won the feature.
Also, HATS OFF to Kenny Pettyjohn for winning his 100th race at DIS the week before.

Beau Wilkins has had top 5&10 strong with 3rd and 6th; Glen Reed had his second 6th place finish of the year. Glen Richards had one of his best finishes with 10th place.
With the competitive way teams are in racing today continuous top 5 & 10's can be hard to come from.
LATE MODEL
There were 3 heats, 1 consi with a total of 25 cars to gain the last 20th spot available for the feature.
Keith Jackson, a 16 year old out of the Upper MD area; as I forgot to write it down it seems. He has been racing the last 2 yrs The Rock, Hagerstown, etc. and decided they would come to DIS and check it out. Well, Keith got a 10th place spot first time on the track. Way to go!
Some pretty good competition with the heavies of late model drivers were toe to toe.
Ray Davis, Jr. made his first visit to DIS for the season, good to see them on the track.
Richard Jarvis Jr. made his first appearance at DIS Saturday. The time listed on the feature was the time on the sheets. I don't even know if that speed is possible. Track Fast Lap: 11.703 Seconds and 153.807 MPH on lap 14 but hey what do I know.
Gary Simpson has moved into Late Model racing as I mentioned before, but Gary has really been hanging in there near the front.

Ryan Walls finished in the top 5, he is still new to this class, so not bad I'd say.
Richie Walls, Sr. was able to return but only after hard work all of last week to get a car in shape to return this week; Walls car was tore up in a altercation among Morris Tucker, Rodney Cordrey, were two in the mishap that were not back this wee.
Jack Mullins, Jr. and Bobby Watkins finished one, two for the second time this week, with some good side by side action.
STREET MODIFIED / TSS LATE MODEL
Joe Warren has not finished lower than 3rd in the 3 starts he has had and he is a rookie in this class.
Shane Sockriter has finished 4 in his 2 starts.
Hal Browning switched to the TSS Late Model motor this season and it looks to be paying off with a win tonight, and a second place win finish on opening night.
The new motor option seems to be increasing the car count each week.
MODIFIED LITE
Erik McKinney has started the season off strong the last 2 races with a 5th and 2nd place finish.

MODIFIED
Jamie Mills won 2nd in a row BB feature. Matt Jester who took over the ClearView Farms #62 for 2006 and finished 3rd in his 2nd start in the BB class; starting off good so far for him, impressive young man. H. J. Bunting III 1W had the fastest time of the night in the heats with Track Fast Lap: 18.854 seconds and 95.47 MPH on lap 7.
LATE MODEL
Donald Lingo, Jr, Kenny Pettyjohn, David Hill, Lou Johnson were all fast. Pettyjohn had something break while in second, Lingo also had mechanical woes.
Larry Meadows out of Severn, MD made his first time visit to DIS in a small block Late Model. It was not only the first time there; it was his first time to race anything!
Kerry king could not get a break for nothing Sat. night. During heats, the main car had problems, so running hot laps with the back up car sent him into the front wall when the back end just got a little loose and whipped around on him to hit the wall pretty hard. Using the car he qualified in still had troubles and finished 15th.
Gary Simpson was strong again to claim 2nd for the 2nd time in a row.
AC DELCO TSS MODIFIED

Heavy damaged to Rodney Cordrey, and Richie Walls, Sr. cars with the big one as it so called.
STREET MODIFIED / TSS LATE MODEL
What a time this class had with yellows? To the point they were checkered to get off the track and return after all features were complete. I don’t know why they had so many cautions, never seen it that bad.
Last winner Steve Bunting had engine failure and not able to start tonight.
In the drivers meeting it was announced that the Street Modified / Crate Late Model will allow drivers at 14 years old and older to compete in this class only.
Robinson picked up his first win after only 2nd time in the car and he is running the crate motor.
MOFIFIED LITE
Jody Cahall # 77 of Denton, MD, will be racing this year and has never raced anything.
