FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE---THANK YOU

URC BIG DEALS HEADING INTO 2008, SAMMONS LANDS PALLADINO RIDE. . . .
CHAD SINON JOINS COYLE SPONSOR LIST. . .
ANDERSON RENEWS DEAL WITH MARTIN & RISLONE

Even before the calendar changes to 2008, several big deals have already been sealed for competitors of URC going into the New Year. Youthful Davey Sammons has landed the popular Palladino #99 ride for the new year. Sammons, winner of the 2007 season  finale, finished fifth in driver points and was named URC's Most Improved Driver of 2007 will be on a mission. The #99 Team is looking for another title and the Bordentown, NJ youngster will be looking for his first URC crown.

Also making big news in URC is the arrival of Chad Sinon as a team sponsor. Sinon, a popular and well known car owner and sponsor in the modified stock car ranks, is now taking a look at sprint cars. Sinon just signed on to be a lead sponsor for Chris Coyle of Wilmington, DE. Coyle won three URC features this season driving his own #83. Coyle will remain owner of his team this year, but his sprint car will carry the familiar BPG Racing colors and the #4.

And still another story line. Becca Anderson and Jimmy Martin have struck a deal for 2008. This team merged in mid-season of 2007 and was threat at each event. With Rislone as the sponsor of the #17, Becca Anderson and the Jimmy Martin owned race  team are strong contenders for the Rislone URC Sprint Series of 2008.

Defending URC Champion Curt Michael will see how he likes the color green in 2008, taking the ride in the top equipment of Bill Gallagher and Valley Forge Inc.

URC is busy finalizing their 2008 Smart Schedule, that will again mirror their 2007 schedule. The final 2008 Rislone URC Sprint Series schedule will be posted shortly.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE---THANK YOU

BPG RACING/CHAD SINON MOTORSPORTS HEADS TO URC, AND HE'S COMING TO WIN!

Without a doubt, one of the most notable race car sponsors, a key figure in short track racing and a gentleman with a first class approach, Chad Sinon announced that he is testing the waters of sprint car racing in 2008. He is coming to URC and, he is coming to win.

As the late night candles were flickering on Thursday, Chad Sinon of Blue Bell, PA was on the phone with URC standout Chris Coyle of  Wilmington, DE, and the deal is done. The familiar number 4 will carry the BPG Racing/Chad Sinon Motorsports name and graphics with Chris Coyle at the wheel when URC opens their 61st season at the Bridgeport Speedway in April 2008. The twenty-eight year old Chris Coyle is a seven time feature winner with URC. Three of those wins came in 2007, a year when twenty different drivers shared the twenty-eight possible victories. Along with Coyle, the master Kramer Williamson and URC Champion Curt Michael were also three time winners this season. In the final point chase, Coyle finished sixth.

There is a story of dedication and determination for Chris Coyle in 2007. Some say he raced on a limited budget, others say he raced on a shoe string. Many said you won't see him at the next show. As the cost of auto racing increases faster then gas prices, Coyle found a way to make it to every race. Even more impressive, was his three feature wins in URC action this year. Coyle won the opener at the sprawling five-eighth mile Bridgeport Speedway in April, he won at the hard clay of Orange County in August and late in the year, Coyle tackled the high-banks of the Grandview Speedway to win a Thunder on the Hill event.  Three extremely demanding race tacks, each with their own attitude, but Coyle was up to the challenge. Pretty impressive for a guy who runs his sprint car operation off a weekly paycheck!

A Warehouse Manager by day, Coyle spends every free hour preparing his URC sprint car for the weekend. He works hard. Since Chris Coyle's' billfold is not bulging, he needs to take care of every race car part he owns. Coyle can race and be successful just by managing his racing program. Chris is also appreciative of the help he receives, His sponsors, his friends and his family are there to help him along. But in today's high cost racing, the drive to work hard for good results is paying off, well at least for Chris Coyle. So the guy is dedicated and determined, two character traits that caught the eye of Chad Sinon.

"I want to get into URC sprint car racing and Coyle is my choice of drivers", said Sinon. He was very impressive with his win at Grandview last year. Sinon has a good eye for evaluating talented race car drivers, and his trophy room at home can prove it. In the modified ranks, the BPG Racing/Chad Sinon Motorsports name has carried may drivers to victory lane as well as championship podiums at the end of the year. Duane Howard, Craig VonDohren, Jeff Strunk, Ryan Watt, Mike Gular, Bobby Trapper are among  the stars in the BPG racing stable. Now Chris Coyle will be part of the team, taking the BPG name to sprint car racing for the first time ever.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE- - -THANK YOU

CURT MICHAEL & KATHY PALLADINO CLAIM ANOTHER URC BAR'S LEAKS CHAMPIONSHIP

The URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series of 2007 and URC's 60th Anniversary season came to close on Saturday night at the Delaware International Speedway.   Earning the URC Title was Driver Champion Curt Michael of Ocean View, DE.  For Michael, this is fourth consecutive URC Championship and his fifth title, winning the series point chase back in 1998.   Michael, driving URC's icon sprint car, the #99 owned by Kathy Palladino and wrenched by Pat Palladino earned the championship with three URC victories and a host of consistent finishes over the twenty-eight  race BAR'S Leaks Series.  One of the big highlights of the season is that twenty different drivers scored feature wins this season, setting a new record for the most different feature winners in a single season.  The previous mark was eighteen different winners. Another interesting point is, of the twenty different feature winners, ten drivers scored their career first win under the URC banner.

The Michael/Palladino team pretty much had the title locked down going into the six events, but the battle for all other positions was still up for grabs.  Michael Carber finished second in Driver points, edging out Ed Aikin by just eighteen points.  In Owner points, the battle for second was just as tight.  Earning the runner-up spot in Owner points was Bill Gallagher, owner of the  Valley Forge INC sprint car that collected 2,413 points.  Gallagher earned the spot in a hard fought battle with a six point advantage over Josette McClaren, owner of the Ed Aikin driven sprint car.  Kramer Williamson rallied home fourth in Driver points as Davey Sammons jumped into fifth in points following his impressive victory Saturday night at Delaware International Speedway.

The next event for URC is the Awards Banquet set for Saturday night, December 8 at the Lancaster Host in Lancaster, PA.  Tickets are available by contacting Donna Miller at 215-860-5631.   For additional Banquet information, please visit   www.urcsprints.com  and go to the Competitors page.  Race teams and fans as well, who plan to attend the Banquet and overnight at the Host, are reminded that the discounted room rate will only be available until Thursday, November 8, so book your
room early to receiving the negotiated rate.

The Managing Members of URC would like to thank their competitors, officials, track promoters and race fans for supporting the highly successful 60th Anniversary Season.  We are already busy planning a big year in 2008 with announcements scheduled to be made at the Awards Banquet.

URC DELIVERS TWENTY DIFFERENT WINNERS IN 2007. . . .
DAVEY SAMMONS WINS URC BAR'S LEAKS SPRINT SERIES SEASON FINALE SATURDAY
NIGHT AT DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY

It was a season of twenty-eight events with no rain outs but the 2007 60th Anniversary URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series came to  a successful close at Davey Sammons of Bordentown, NJ won the twenty-five  lap feature event at the Delaware International Speedway.  This event, which is part of the Taylor & Messick Delaware State Sprint Series was a real thrill as Randy West led the first twenty-two laps.  But a restart onlap twenty-three opened the door for Davey Sammons (URC's  2006 Rookie of the Year) who  made a bold outside pass to lead the final two laps and collect $2,000 for his efforts.  To top the night off for Sammons, he also earned the LikeWise Construction Fast Time Award for turning the fastest lap in the URC feature event.

Three heat races were presented to  determined the starting line-up for the URC feature with Randy West, Jamie Bodo and Josh Weller winning the qualifying events.

In the feature, Randy West earned the pole starting position by winning the opening heat race of the night.  At the drop of the green flag, West bolted to a commanding lead  as Jamie Bodo and Gary Gollub were in the chase.  On a charge was the youthful Sammons who was racing in third by lap two.   Sammons passed Bodo for second on lap four and now began the task of chasing down West.   Also on a strong run was Becca Anderson driving the BAR'S Leaks #17 sprint car, now running fourth just ahead of Kramer Williamson.

As the field completed the halfway point of the race, the caution flag was displayed with Mike Kostic and Jamie Bobo tangled in turn two.   On the restart, West was on point with Sammons close in the chase followed by Anderson, Michael Carber and Williamson.  West again ran to hide from the rest of the field, but this time, he remained within the sights of a determined Davey Sammons.  With each lap,  Sammons moved in a bit closer to the leader.  With just five laps remaining, West, Sammons, Anderson, Carber and Williamson were the top five.

The final caution of the night was displayed on laps twenty-two for Adam Gordon who stopped on the speedway.   On the restart, West covered the low groove giving Sammons the only option, to go high.  The door was open and Sammons took the high road on a very slick but smooth racing surface.  West and Sammons ran side-by-side down the backstretch and through turns three and four.  Coming out of turn four,  Sammons took the lead and the two-to-go sign with Randy West now in the runner-up spot followed by Becca Anderson.

Sammons mastered a flawless run for the final two laps to score his first career URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series feature event.  Sammons also became URC's twentieth different driver in twenty-eight events to win a feature this season.  Randy West finished  second followed by Becca Anderson, Michael Carber and Kramer Williamson.

At the conclusion of the night, Curt Michael along with car owners Pat and Kathy Palladino visited victory lane and celebrated winning the prestigious URC BAR'S Leaks Championship title of 2007.

The URC Fred's Trailer Parts Hard Charger Award went to Ed Aikin who advanced nine positions in the feature event. LikeWise Construction Fast Time of the Night : Davey Sammons

FRED'S TRAILER PARTS NEW SERIES CONTINUES. . . . . .ED AIKIN TOPS URC FIELD FOR SECOND WIN OF 2007 AND FOURTH CAREER WIN SATURDAY NIGHT AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY

Ed Aikin of Lincoln University, PA was the man to beat in the thrilling twenty-five lap BAR'S Leaks URC Sprint feature event  Saturday night at  the New Egypt Speedway. Aikin, driving the Scott McClaren owned sprint car, caught early race leader BrianSeidel on lap sixteen to the top spot and was never challenged on his way to collecting the $2,000 first place prize. For Aikin, it was his second win of the season and fourth career win under the URC banner. Aikin's first win of the season came at the Williams Grove Speedway in the $4,000 to win Rislone/Shot Drop Sprint Nationals.

A field of twenty-nine URC sprint cars turned out for URC's twenty-sixth event of the season and tenth race on the Fred's Trailer Parts "New" Series. Heat race winners were Justin Collett driving the Scott McClaren owned #21, Brian Seidel and Dave Ely as the "B" winner was Mike Haggenbottom.

In the twenty-five lap URC Sprint feature, the one and only yellow of the race was displayed before the completion of the first lap when Randy West, Kyle Purks and Jason Clauss tangled in turn four. On the restart, Brian Seidel of Allentown, PA ran to hide from the rest of the field as Ed Aikin, Mares Stellfox and Curt Michael. By lap three, Michael was racing in third and now chasing Seidel and Aikin. Back in the pack, Chris Coyle was on a charge as he moved into fifth on lap five.

Another driver on a charge was Becca Anderson of Houston, DE and driver of the BAR'S Leaks sponsored sprint car. As the field  passed for the halfway sign, Aikin caught Seidel and quickly applied pressure for the top spot. On lap sixteen, Aikin became the new leader with Seidel now in second followed by Curt Michael, Chris Coyle and Becca Anderson.  Chris Coyle now joined the party andwent to battle with Curt Michael. On lap nineteen, Coyle passed Michael for the third position. Michael  said "no you don't" and on lap twenty-three, he moved back into third.

As Aikin fought to hold off Seidel, and Michael and Coyle battled for third and fourth, the top five was quickly closing in and very close to racing under a blanket, in other words, the top five was racing in a pack for the final laps.

Almost from nowhere, Michael Carber in the Bill Gallagher owned sprinter was challenging for fifth. For the last two circuits, Aikin remained the pace setter and went on to claim the victory, his fourth career URC win of his career. Seidel finished a solid second with Curt Michael third, Chris Coyle fourth and Michael Carber was fifth. Making up the top ten were Becca Anderson, Joey Biasi, JJ Grasso, Kramer Williamson and Kevin Welsh.

CHUCK HEBING SCORES REPEAT VICTORY IN RAIN DELAYED SPRINT CHALLENGE AT THE WHEELS SUNDAY NIGHT

ELBRIDGE, NY . . . . A field of sixty-seven 360 sprint cars turned out Saturday night, October 6 for the thirteenth running of the Sprint Challenge at the Wheels, a co-sanctioned event by URC and ESS. After a long rain delay that forced the completion of this event to Sunday night, Chuck Hebing of Ontario, NY claimed the win for the second consecutive year, pocketing a hefty $3,000. Heat races that took place on Saturday night prior to the rain, were won by Jason Barney, Chuck Hebing, Tim Kelly, Jeff Cook, Mares Stellfox, and Kramer Williamson. On Sunday night, the competitors returned with two "B" Main events that were won by Rick Wilson and Bobby Breen. By luck of the draw, Hebing drew the pole starting position and led the entire twenty-five lap distance. Late in the race, Steve Poirior threatened Hebing for the lead, then on the final lap, he tangled with a lapped car only to spin and display the yellow flag. When the race resumed, Hebing toured the Rolling Wheels Raceway for the last circuit to easily score the win.

In the feature event, Hebing gunned from his pole starting position, establishing a commanding lead within the first two circuits. Jason Barney followed in second with Robbie Stillwaggon making up the top three. The first caution of the event was displayed on lap six when motor problems forced Kramer Williamson to stop on the homestretch. On the restart, Hebing again left no doubt that  he was the leader and in change. On lap seven, the yellow was again displayed, this time for Rick Wilson who spun in turn two.

With green flag racing again underway, Hebing, Barney and Curt Michael were the top three with Steve Poirior on this way to the front of the pack. At the halfway point of the race, Hebing was far ahead with Barney second, Poirior third Curt Michael fourth and  Robbie Stillwaggon fifth.

The caution flag was waiving on lap fourteen for Scott Kreutter who stopped on the speedway. On the restart, Poirior gunned into second and set his sights on the leader. The big lead once held by Hebing was dwindling and Poirier was gaining ground. With just five laps to go, Poirior was now in striking distance of taking the lead. Hebing was  using the high groove with Poinier on the bottom. As the battle for the lead was shaping up, Blake Breen was on a charge, chasing Curt Michael for the third position.

With the white flag waiving, Poirier was chasing Hebing into turns one and two. For the run down the backstretch, Poirier was gaining then the lapped car of Mares Stellfox spun in turns three and four. Race leader Chuck Hebing narrowly missed the spinning  sprint car as Steve Poirier spun to avoid, displaying the caution.

With just one lap remaining, this moved Jason Barney into second with Curt Michael third. At the drop of the green, Hebing blasted away from the rest of the pack, as Blake Breen went to work on Michael. Going into turn three, Breen made a bold pass to go around Curt Michael and take third place behind Hebing and Barney. Rounding out the top five were Curt Michael and Tim Kelly.

FEATURE FINISH: Chuck Hebing, Jason Barney, Blake Breen, Curt Michael; Tim Kelly, Bryan Howland, Jessica Zemkin, Robbie Stillwaggon, Lance Yonge, Jared Zimbardi, Jeff Cook, Bobby Breen, Kyle Moffit. Alain Bergeron, Brian McDonald, Mike Stelter, Jeff VanDusen, Steve Poirior, Bubby Kerrick, Michael Parent, Joey Biasi, Michael Carber, Mares Stellfox, Scott Kreutter, Rick Wilson, Tim Hogue, Kramer Williamson.

This event is open to all 360 Sprints and is expected to again draw a large field of competitors. CURT MICHAEL SECURE IN POINT LEAD, DAVEY SAMMONS BOLTS INTO TOP FIVE

The URC 60th Anniversary Sprint Series continue to enjoy one of its' best season ever and Saturday night at the Delaware International Speedway, the story was no different. Fly'in Brian Seidel scored his twenty-second career win with URC, taking the $2,500 first place prize in convincing style and leading all twenty-five laps. This victory was also his first win of the season driving  the Guy Howie owned sprinter.

In twenty-four URC events this season, eighteen different drivers have visited the URC win circle, matching the record in 2001, when again, eighteen different drivers won feature events. With four race dates still remaining, it is possible that a new record for the most different winners in a single season could be established. In the point chase, Ocean View, DE driver Curt Michael has a comfortable point advantage over runner-up Michael Carber. Michael is looking to win his fifth URC Championship and fourth consecutive title. 2006 Rookie of the Year  Driver Davey Sammons is enjoying a strong run. After a solid third place finish at Delaware International on Saturday night, Sammons is now ranked fifth in the season long point chase, an outstanding achievement with solid finishes the second half of the season.

URC will next be in action at the Rolling Wheels Raceway in Elbridge, NY on Saturday night, October 6 for the $3,000 to win Shoot Out at the Wheels. The Wheels event will be a full point race (minimum 50 point  earnings) for URC. All the details for this event can be found on the URC Website under the Competitors page. This show is a 360 Sprint stand alone event that is part of Super  DIRT Week. The following weekend, URC will be in action in a full program of sprint car racing at the New Egypt Speedway. On  Saturday, October 20, the URC Sprints will be part of the Thunder on the Hill racing Series, taking part in the Annual House of Thunder 5-25's, features only event. TAYLOR & MESSICK DELAWARE STATE SPRINT SERIES RETURNS TO DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL BRIAN SEIDEL LEADS WIRE-TO-WIRE & POCKETS $2,500 FOR HIS 22ND CAREER URC BAR'S LEAKS SPRINT SERIES VICTORY SATURDAY NIGHT

DELMAR, DE . . . . . Brian Seidel of Allentown, PA pretty much smoked the field to win the 25 lap URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series feature event Saturday night at the Delaware International. Seidel, the 2000 URC Champion, drove a flawless race behind the wheel of the Guy Howie owned 19H sprint car leading every lap on his way to his first win of the season and twenty-second career URC feature win. Seidel won his  heat race and the feature event and collected a hefty $500 bonus posted by CnB Mushrooms pushing his earnings to $2,500 for the nights work.  With twenty-four URC events presented so far this season, Seidel became the eighteenth different feature winner on Saturday night.

Another strong field of twenty-nine URC sprint cars turned out for the Taylor & Messick Delaware State Sprint Series event with heat race victories going to Brian Seidel, Becca Anderson and Joey Biasi as Josh Weller won the Don Ott sponsored by "B" Main.

A field of twenty-four URC sprint cars took the green in the feature event with Brian Seidel jumping out to the early lead. Becca Anderson and fourth place started Curt Michael were in the chase followed by Scott Pursell and Kyle Purks. Seidel established a solid lead and Becca Anderson had second in control as Curt Michael was in a strong chase after the two front runners. Scott Pursell ran in fourth until lap six when Randy West took over fourth and went to work reeling in Curt Michael.

By lap ten, Randy West and the Elmer Stoltzfus owned sprinter were racing in third and gaining on runner-up Becca Anderson, driving the BAR'S Leaks Sprint car. At the halfway point of the race, Seidel, Anderson, West, Michael and Scott Pursell made up the five. As the second half of the feature began to unfold, the leaders quickly saw lapped traffic just ahead. The top three were now racing under a blanket and on lap sixteen, West moved into second and began pulling closer to the leader in hopes of setting up a late race challenge.

With just five laps to go, Davey Sammons had a awesome ride going as he  moved into fifth with Kramer Williamson in sixth. For the final laps, Seidel was holding off the challenges of Randy West and Curt Michael as Sammons was in a tug-of-war battle for position with Becca Anderson.

A fine run for Scott Pursell came to an end on lap twenty-four when mechanical problems brought him to a stop in turn four after  running sixth.

On the restart, Seidel only had one more perfect lap to drive and his goal was to hold off Randy West and current URC point leader Curt Michael. As Seidel held off West, Michael now found himself defending the third spot as Sammons was in challenging distance. On that final  lap, fifth place runner Becca Anderson spun after contact with Kramer Williamson. Anderson spun with Williamson advancing to fifth.

At the drop of the checker flag, Seidel was the big winner with Randy West crossing the line in second with Curt Michael third, Davey Sammons fourth and Kramer Williamson. The top four feature finishers retired to the pits for post race teching. Seidel past the teching procedure without issue, however, the same could not be said for Randy West and the Elmer Stoltzfus owned sprinter.  An infraction with the heads forced an immediate disqualification for the West/Stoltzfus Team.

Seidel was the feature winner over second place runner Curt Michael as Davey Sammons delivered a strong third with Kramer Williamson fourth and Robbie Stillwaggon fifth

URC handicapping works and the competition is closer then ever!  This statement is backed-up by data as the BAR'S Leaks URC Sprints Series, (now in it's sixtieth season) is nearing a new record for the most feature winners in a single season.  With the Saturday night victory by JJ Grasso at the New Egypt Speedway, he became the seventeenth different feature winner this season.  In the mix, is the fact that nine drivers have scored their first ever career win with URC this season.    The record for most different feature winners dates back to 2001 and 2002 when there were eighteen different feature winners. With five race dates still set for  the 2007 URC schedule, it's very possible that a new record could be established.

In 2001, twenty-five events were presented with  Greg Coverdale and Jeff Busby each winning three feature events to top a roster of eighteen different feature winners.  In 2002, Bill Brian Jr was a five time feature winner and shared victory lane stops with seventeen other drivers that season in a total of thirty-one race dates.  Bill Brian Jr won the URC title that season.

With twenty-three events in the books so far in 2007, the mix of different feature winners continues.  At the top of the list are three time winners Kramer Williamson (last win August 18) and current point leader Curt Michael (last win July 28).  Chris Coyle has two  wins this season along with rising star Michael Carber.  The list of single URC feature winners includes JJ Grasso, Robbie Stillwaggon, Dave Ely, Ed Aikin, Joey Biasi, Randy West, Trevor Lewis,  Lucas Wolfe, Josh Weller, Chad Layton, Dave Calaman, Justin Collett and Kevin Welsh.

The Big Shows of 2007 saw Chris Coyle win the CnB Mushroom Opener at the Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday April 14.   The Jack Gunn Memorial $3,500 to win race at the Selinsgrove Speedway saw Dave Calaman take the win.  On June 27, Lucas Wolfe won the Kasey Kahne Foundation Sprint Challenge at the Williams Grove Speedway and hitting a home run, was EdAikin, scoring his biggest win of his career, collecting $4,000 for the win in the Rislone/Shot Drop 360 Sprint Nationals at the Williams Grove
Speedway on August 3rd.

The URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series continues on Saturday night, September 22 at the Delaware International Speedway followed by the Shoot Out at the Wheels paying $3,000 to the winner of the twenty-five lap feature on Saturday night, October 6.  URC will return to New Egypt on Saturday night, October 13 followed by the annual features only event at the Grandview Speedway on Saturday night, October 20.  The busy URC season will officially end at the Delaware International Speedway on Saturday night, November 3.

URC's car count average for the twenty-three race dates remain at thirty-one, unmatched by any weekly or traveling 360 sprint car organization in the country.

FRED'S TRAILER PARTS NEW SERIES CONTINUES AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY. . . . THE "JERSEY JET" JJ GRASSO UPSETS URC FIELD FOR FIRST CAREER WIN  SATURDAY NIGHT

NEW EGYPT, NJ The "Jersey Jet" JJ Grasso of Pedricktown, NJ was the star of the show on Saturday night at the New Egypt Speedway when  the URC BAR'S Leaks Sprint Series presented their twenty-third show of  the season. Grasso was the man to beat all night, winning his heat  race, setting the LikeWise Construction fast time then leading the  twenty-five lap URC sprint feature wire-to-wire, collecting the $2,000  first prize. Grasso keeps the streak of different and first time  winners alive, becoming URC's seventeenth different feature winner of  the season and URC's ninth first time ever feature winner.

And still another strong field of thirty URC sprints turned out for  the program that is part of the Fred's Trailer Parts New Series.  Heat race events were won by JJ Grasso, Becca Anderson in the BAR'S  Leaks sponsored sprinter and Kramer Williamson is his familiar "Pike  Panther" #73. The Don Ott "B" Main winner was Jimmy Stitzel.

Twenty-five URC sprint cars took the green flag to start the 25 lap  feature event with JJ Grasso immediately gunning to a commanding lead  as Kramer Williamson and Becca Anderson followed in the chase. On lap  four, the first caution of the event was displayed when Mares Stellfox  slowed in turn one. On the restart, The "Jersey Jet" blasted away  from the field, leaving Williamson and Mark Bitner now in a tug of war  for second. Bitner made the pass for second on lap eight and he began  his chase on the leader. On lap twelve, the second caution of the  race was displayed when Joey Biasi slowed dramatically going down the
 backstretch.

When green flag racing resumed, Grasso again checked out to run and  hide from the rest of the field. At the halfway point of the race,  Grasso was setting a blistering pace followed by Mark Bitner, Kramer  Williamson, Michael Carber and fifth place runner Lucas Wolfe, who  started fifteenth.

With just eight laps remaining, Bitner starting reeling in Grasso as  lapped traffic started to play a factor for the lead.. Also on a  charge was Michael Carber in the Bill Gallagher owned sprinter.  Carber was now up to third with Lucas Wolfe in fourth. In the closing  laps, Grasso remained in solid command of the lead as Bitner now had  to hold off Carber.

At the drop of the checker flag, Grasso earned the win, his first ever  under the URC banner. In a photo finish, Michael Carber edged out  Mark Bitner for second and Lucas Wolfe finished fourth as Kramer  Williamson made up the top five. In the top ten were Mike  Haggenbottom, Jason Clauss, Brook Weibley ,Ed Ai
