Blackbird Quarter Midget Race Club will hold its annual
Driving Experience/Swap meet on March 30, 2008. The dirt track, now in its 22nd
year, is located just off Commons Blvd, New Castle DE, on the ground of Airport
Speedway. Admission and parking is free.
For just $20.00 per child, ages 5-16, your son or daughter can experience the
thrill of driving a real race car on a closed track in a controlled situation.
Sign-ins begin at 10am, the Experience will begin at 11am and a birth
certificate is required. BQMRC will supply everything you need, the car, safety
equipment and comprehensive instruction on the race cars operations. Give your
child the thrill of a lifetime they値l never forget. All children must wear long
pants (jeans), socks that cover the ankles and sneakers. No open toed shoes
please. Bring the cameras and video cameras, Grandmom and Grandpop and make a
day out of it. Our concession stand will be open all day serving great food at
reasonable prices.
Do you have quarter midget items to sell at the swap meet? Come by and sell it
with us. Table space is FREE. Set-up begins at 9:30am.
