News From Brea Lopez Motorsports
Vader, Wa - Brea Lopez Scores Another Top Five Finish At South Sound Speedway
By Steve Pados, GA Motorsports Media
Nineteen year old Midget driving star Brea Lopez and her Brea Lopez Motorsports
Team returned to South Sound Speedway last Saturday night for the second
scheduled race of the 2008 WMRA series. Less than favorable weather conditions
rode with the racing teams in attendance, but the large crowd on hand was
undaunted by the unpredictable weather and enjoyed a great night of hot racing
action. For Lopez, she suffered through an unbelievable night of mechanical
problems with her Dan Press wrenched racer, but still managed to bring the car
home for a fine fourth place when the checkered flag fell on the event.
During the qualifiying session defending series champion Evan Margeson clocked
the fastest time when he steered the Beal #50 in at 13.15 seconds. Lopez was a
tick slower in second place with a clocking of 13.20 seconds and 2006 series
champion Spence Gatrell clicked off a time at 13.37 seconds. Rookie Mark
Atkinson qualified fourth at 13.51 seconds.
Only one heat was needed for the cars on hand and Mark Atkinson won the event
easily over Spence Gatrell, Mitch Hofses, Evan Margeson, Brea Lopez, and Darren
Linder. This set the stage for the feature event and the WMRA officilas
determined prior to the start of the event the feature would be shortened to
25-laps due to the challenging weather conditions in the area.
For the feature, Atkinson took at the drop of the green and had clear sailing
all of the way as the race was ran non-stop and the rookie Atkinson was more
than up to the challenge. Evan Margeson made the event interesting as he was
able to slip by Lopez with two to go and then passed Gatrell on the white flag
lap to claim a solid runner-up finish. Gatrell was third at the finish and Lopez
claimed fourth place even though the mechanical gremlins in her race car were
evident throughout the latter stages of the feature event. "Quick" Rick Brown
completed the top five running order.
The spirited Lopez was truly disappointed with her fourth place finish at South
Sound. After a long phone conversation she remarked, "The car gave us problems
all day long. I felt I could challenge for the lead early on but the car kept
getting worse as the race progressed. After the midpoint of the race I was just
trying to hang on and keep out of trouble. I didn't put up a fight when Evan got
by me as he was obviously going much better than we were at the time". Lopez
later added, "We are going to take the car for a test session this week to see
why the motor keeps acting up for us. Hopefully we will find all of the answers
and be able to put the Dan Press Midget in the winners circle in the near
future".
Miss Lopez was once again behind the wheel of the newly refurbished 2006 Beast
Chassied/Esslinger powered Midget that is Crewed by her grandfather, the
legendary West Coast racer, Dan Press. While the team had hoped to travel to as
many venues as possible to race in 2008, the Lopez Team is weighing all of their
options as to travel and competition. The Lopez Team is still seeking additional
sponsorship partners for the 2008 racing season to assist with the larger travel
schedule the series has embarked on with a couple of shows being scheduled
across the border into Canada.
Lopez will return to action on May 31st as the third event of the WMRA Season
will unfold. The series will once again compete at the South Sound Speedway
located in Rochester, Washington.
Brea Lopez would like to thank all of her sponsors and supporters for their
efforts in helping the team prepare for the 2008 racing season. Steve Forler
Trucking, Redline Oil, Ridgecrest Homes, Hooker Harness, Bell Helmets, Finish
Line Racing Equipment, Keizer Wheels, Loma Hair Products, DPI, Airgas, Nex-Gen
Motorsports, and GA Motorsports Media will all play a major role in the success
of the team this coming year.
Individuals lending support include Steve Lewis, John Hunter, Chip Hanauer and
Dave Reed. Individuals or Sponsors looking for much needed exposure through a
strong association with Motorsports are encouraged to contact Brea Lopez
Motorsports for further information regarding the sponsorship programs the team
has in place.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Lernerville Speedway Visit Helps Chub Frank Shake Off Some Early-Season
Misfortune
BEAR LAKE, PA –Chub Frank shook off a bout of early-season misfortune with a
mid-week visit to his favorite racetrack.
The veteran star from Bear Lake, Pa., battled to a hard-earned third-place
finish in Tuesday night’s 50-lap World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Showdown in
Sarvertown’ at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., where he’s enjoyed plenty of
success over the years.
After rallying to finish third in his heat race following a first-lap scramble
that sent him back to eighth, Chub marched forward from the 10th starting spot
to finish hot on Shane Clanton’s runner-up car in the A-Main. He wasn’t sure if
he might have had something for winner Billy Moyer, but he never even got a
chance to mount a serious bid for the $10,000 win because he couldn’t complete a
late-race pass of Clanton.
“The track was actually pretty good for the first night (of racing there in
2008),” said Chub. “But when we get back here in June (for the ‘Firecracker 100’
on June 27-28) we’ll see a little different racetrack. I’m looking forward to
that one.”
The third-place run did raise Chub’s spirits after a pair of disappointing
outings a few days earlier, on April 11 at Virginia Motor Speedway and April 12
at The Rock/Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, Md.
“The way our luck’s been going,” said Chub, “I definitely needed a good finish
(at Lernerville).”
In Friday’s 50-lap WoO LMS ‘Rumble on the River IV’ at VMS, Chub felt that his
Lester Buildings/Corry Rubber/All Star Performance/Corry Laser/Slavic
Corporation/Farr MotorSports/Lake Shore Paving/Custom Race Engines Chevrolet
Impala SS Rocket Chassis No. 1* was capable of finishing as high as second. But
his hopes for such a strong placing were dashed when he slid sideways in turn
four while running third on lap 14 and was clipped by Josh Richards.
Chub, who half-spun because his car stalled when he got on the brakes to avoid
another machine that pushed out of what he described as the track’s wet bottom,
salvaged an eighth-place finish after pitting to have his car’s damaged hood
removed.
Twenty-four hours later, in the 50-lap Mid-Atlantic Championship Series (MACS)
season opener at Allegany County Speedway, Chub appeared headed to a third-place
finish when he slowed with a blown left-rear tire. He had to settle for a
12th-place finish.
Chub, who sits tied for fifth in the WoO LMS points standings with Darrell
Lanigan (56 points out of first) after six events, heads south to compete in the
tour’s Circle K Colossal 100 this weekend (April 18-19) at The Dirt Track @
Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C. The third annual race pays $50,000 to
win.

BRUCE KLINE RACING NEWS
Bangor, PA - The "Bangor Bullet" Bruce Kline On Target For Saturday Night's
Orange County Fair Speedway Opener
By Steve Pados, GA Motorsports Media
The Bruce Kline Racing Team got a jump-start on their 2008 racing season as they
traveled to the Selinsgrove Speedway to take part in the ROC Opener back on
March 15th. While the outing wasn't what they had hoped for, Kline and Company
felt the experience and lessons learned were valuable in preparing for the
upcoming racing season at Orange County Fair Speedway, which is set to begin
this coming Saturday Night, April19th. After the Selinsgrove event, the team
made some changes to the car they felt would improve the overall performance of
the race car and are looking forward to trying out those changes at the OCFS
Opener. For Kline the 2008 racing season will the mark 30th season he has been
driving race cars.
The last appearance the Kline team made at the Orange County Fair Speedway was
back in October for the Eastern States weekend. The low buck, high integrity
race team shocked many of the higher-profile teams in attendance that weekend as
the "Bangor Bullet" reeled off two quick laps to sit on the pole until Brett
Hearn eventually knocked Kline off with a slightly quicker time. Kline drove a
masterful race during the event and remained with the leaders all day long
hoping to make a final run at the win in the final 30-laps of the race. On
lap-189 of the 200-lap event Kline's luck ran sour as a broken valve shut the
racer down and the machine limped slowly to the pits. Even though Kline was only
credited with a 19th place finish, his loyal racing fans were abuzz with the
great drive by the Slate Belt veteran.
Kline earned one feature event win at Orange County last year and was enjoying a
solid year in racing but was faced with a decision in the latter stages of the
season when his son Jessie had his mount go down with motor problems over at the
Five Mile Point Speedway. Not having a spare motor ready for such an emergency,
the elder Kline lent out his trusty mount to his son as Jessie was ranked in the
top five in points and a candidate for the Rookie of the Year honors in the
Modified division at Five Mile Point. The younger Kline, known to his legion of
fans as the "Bangor Blast", used his Dad's car to keep his momentum, reeled off
some great runs with the big block machine, and captured a fourth place in the
final points standings to end in a tie with the "Cresco Cruiser " Eric Palmer.
The two drivers also shared the Modified Rookie of the years honors. Once the
final points event was completed at Five Mile Point, Bruce Kline returned to the
seat of his racer in time for the Topless Modified Show.
The Bruce Kline Racing Team will once again be utilizing the same race car they
used last season. The car is a Teo-Pro standard design chassis and will once
again have a strong Van Horn powerplant bolted between the rails. Attention to
detail on the equipment is paramount in keeping the team prepped and ready each
week they tow to the race track. Sponsorship for the low-buck team comes from
longtime sponsors RG Hoffman, Kline's Auto Repair and Van Horn Racing Engines.
While the team is hoping to be regular competitors at the speedway in 2008, the
economic crunch that has spread across the country has relegated the team to
look at the racing schedule one race at a time and proceed from there. While the
team actively sought out potential sponsors for the new season to date nothing
has come to fruition.
Bruce Kline would like to thank all of the team's sponsors, friends and fans for
their loyal support of the "Bangor Bullet". Kline would also like to extend a
huge thank you to Ed and Steve Pados at CARQUEST Gasoline Alley for their long
time support and for having the "Bangor Bullet" play a part on the show with his
"Inside the Cockpit Report" during the racing season.

Motorsports Media at: 610 573 9706 or email at:

For Immediate Release:
Jeremy Miller Makes His Dream Come True With Big World of Outlaws Late Model
Series Victory At Virginia Motor Speedway
GETTYSBURG, PA – April 14, 2008 – Jeremy Miller’s dream finally came true.
After coming close to a coveted victory in a World of Outlaws Late Model Series
event on several occasions last year, Miller broke through in a big way to win
Friday night’s 50-lap ‘Rumble on the River IV’ at Virginia Motor Speedway in
Jamaica, Va.
The 37-year-old driver from Gettysburg, Pa., worked hard to score his first
career triumph on the tough national tour. He drove his Buckler Motorsports No.
24 past the red-hot Billy Moyer for the lead on lap 35 and held off defending
series champion Steve Francis to pocket a $10,650 check – and celebrate arguably
the most meaningful win of his life.
“It means so much to me to win a World of Outlaws race,” said Miller, who led
Francis under the checkered flag. “Just being able to challenge these Outlaw
guys is a pretty cool deal for me. They’re the best in the business.
“It was definitely an honor to race for the lead with Billy because he’s been
running so good this year. Billy always told (Charles) Buckler (Miller’s car
owner) that he could run 100 laps side-by-side with me. I’ve tried to earn his
respect, and we raced hard, we raced clean.
“I’m happiest for all the people who support me,” he continued. “I have great
car owners (Charles and Genny Buckler) and they deserve this – I just wish I
could’ve done it for them last year. And there’s all my crew guys, who are all
weekend racers and work so hard on the car, and everything that my parents and
my wife Julie do to help me.”
Miller also gave special thanks to his sponsors, a group that includes Complete
Flooring, USA Spares, Inc., Rocket Chassis, Bullock Race Engines, Miller
Fabrication Inc., Torco Race Fuels, Genesis Racing Shocks and American Racer
Tires.
Miller won in his first start of the season driving a brand-new Rocket car. The
machine was basically a twin to the style Rocket that WoO LMS regular Chub Frank
drives.
“When I ordered new cars from Rocket I’d always get a different type of car than
Chub got,” said Miller. “He’d always say, ‘Why don’t you get a car like mine?’
Well, I didn’t know what kind of car Chub has, but when I ordered this one I
told them to build one just like Chub’s.”
The car was just like Chub’s – right down to the placement of the pedals. Since
Miller is several inches shorter than Frank, he had to move the seat forward in
the car to comfortably reach the pedals with his feet.
“I think it says a lot about Rocket Chassis that we were able bring a car right
out of the box and win with it,” said Miller. “I also can’t say enough about our
Bullock motor – Bullock has given us a motor to race with these guys – and I
hope we showed that American Racer has a pretty good tire.”
Hot off his WoO LMS victory, Miller headed to The Rock/Allegany County Speedway
in Cumberland, Md., for the Mid-Atlantic Championship Series (MACS) season
opener on Saturday night. He timed second-fastest and finished third in his heat
race, but he slipped backward slightly from the third starting spot in the
50-lap feature to place fifth.
“I think we went a little hard on tires,” said Miller. “That was a little
disappointing coming off the win the night before, but I guess if you think you
picked the wrong tires and you still run in the top five, then you’re doing
pretty good.”
Miller will continue a busy week of action by entering two more World of Outlaws
events – Tuesday night (April 15) at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., and
the Circle K Colossal 100 on April 18-19 at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor
Speedway in Concord, N.C.

April 10, 2008
For Immediate Release:
Jeremy Miller Ready For First Big-Race Stretch Of 2008 Season
GETTYSBURG, PA – Jeremy Miller already has two dirt Late Model starts under his
belt this season, but those races were mere tune-ups for his first big-show
swing of 2008 coming up this weekend.
“As far as I’m concerned, my season hasn’t even started yet,” said Miller, who
suffered misfortune in his recent runs on March 21 at Maryland’s Potomac
Speedway (finished 19th due to suspension woes) and March 28 at Pennsylvania’s
Williams Grove Speedway (20th thanks to a fuel-system problem). “This weekend is
when we really get going.”
Indeed, the 36-year-old driver from Gettysburg, Pa., and his Buckler Motorsports
team will be very busy over the next week. His schedule kicks off on Friday
night (April 11) with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Rumble on the
River IV’ at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Va., then continues with the
Mid-Atlantic Championship Series (MACS) season opener on Saturday night (April
12) at The Rock/Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, Md.; the WoO LMS
‘Showdown in Sarvertown’ on Tues., April 15, at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver,
Pa.; and the third annual Circle K Colossal 100 on April 18-19 at The Dirt Track
@ Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C.
Miller had also planned to enter a MACS event on Sunday (April 13) at Hesston
(Pa.) Speedway, but track and MACS officials announced on Wednesday that the
program has been postponed until Sun., May 11.
Coming off a frustrating, bad-luck 2007 campaign, Miller feels good about his
chances of returning to winning form. He has combined with car owners Charlie
and Jenny Buckler to put together an ambitious regional schedule of nearly 60
events that includes starts with the WoO LMS, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series,
MACS and the Independent Racing Series (IRS) as well as a host of special
unsanctioned shows.
“We spent the off-season trying to get prepared for all the racing we’re
planning to do,” said Miller, who led the Northeast in dirt Late Model feature
wins in both 2004 and 2006. “I feel like the equipment we have ready to go is
the best we’ve ever started the year out with.”
Miller has two new Rocket cars set for action, including one equipped with a
brand-new Bullock Race Engine that he plans to make his primary machine for the
upcoming week of action.
“We put a lot of hard work into the cars this winter,” said Miller. “We’re just
trying to improve like everybody else, and I’m anxious to get out there and see
how everything works out.”
Miller is especially upbeat about Friday’s WoO LMS show at Virginia Motor
Speedway, a half-mile oval where he’s enjoyed a fair share of success in recent
years. In fact, in 2003 he scored the first $10,000 victory of his dirt Late
Model career at VMS.
“For some reason that place has always suited me,” Miller said of Virginia
Motor, where he led last July’s WoO LMS event before succumbing to mechanical
trouble. “I always seem to run decent there, so that’s a big reason why I’m
excited about the Outlaw show there.”
Miller’s Buckler Motorsports cars carry sponsorship from Complete Flooring, USA
Spares, Inc., Rocket Chassis, Bullock Race Engines, Miller Fabrication Inc.,
Torco Race Fuels and Genesis Racing Shocks. He uses American Racer tires on his
No. 24 machines.

NEWS FROM JERRY HIGBIE RACING
GOSHEN, NY-- Jerry Higbie To Do Battle This Weekend At Fonda Ice Jam
By Steve Pados, GA Motorsports Media
Jerry Higbie, "The Statesman From Slate Hill" has filed an entry to take part in
the season opener this coming weekend at the famous Fonda Fairgrounds for the
annual "Ice Jam" event. Higbie will once again climb behind the wheel of the

and all of the Fonda track regulars and a host of outside invaders are expected
in for the event.
Higbie made his second Pennsylvania appearance of the 2008 racing season two
weeks ago at the Big Diamond Raceway located in Forestville, Pennsylvania. The
event was the initial race of the season for Big Diamond Raceway and a stout

position on the starting grid and racing to a solid 9th place finish at the
conclusion of the race.
A host of drivers including Higbie took part in a close practice session on
Monday at the Orange County Fair Speedway. While Higbie suffered from some
braking problems early on in the session, once sorted out, was able to
constantly click off lap times in the 20.7 range on the big 5/8 mile hard clay

Sprint Cup Series car, was very pleased with Higbie's initial run in the Midgets
at the Chili Bowl and is happy to provide a car for the popular dirt track star.
Higbie's aggressive 2008 racing schedule will find him in the thick of the
action as he prepares to run for the Accord Speedway and Orange County Fair
Speedway Championships this year. He will also be challenging for the ROC title.
For the Accord and ROC events, Higbie will race his signature numbered 97 cars
and for his assault on OCFS and select WRG Series Races, Higbie will once again

News From Brea Lopez Motorsports
Vader, Wa - Brea Lopez Motorsports Set For South Sound Opener
By Steve Pados, GA Motorsports Media
Nineteen year old Midget driving star Brea Lopez and her Brea Lopez Motorsports
Team will make their first start of the 2008 racing season when the Washington
Midget Racing Association opens it's season on Saturday, April 12th at the
lightning fast 3/8 mile South Sound Speedway located in Rochester, Washington.
The event will mark the 4th season the talented teenager will be doing duty with
the long-standing racing association and Lopez is looking forward to a great
season season that can hopefully springboard her into landing a ride in a
pavement Late Model division or Truck Series ride in the future. Lopez had an
outstanding year in 2007 as she drove to a third place finish in the
Association's final point standings, a big improvement from her ninth place
performance in 2006. Lopez also foundher way into victory lane year last year
when she took advantage of an open date in her WMRA schedule to race with the
Bay Cities Racing Assocation. The team made the tow to the Redwood Acres Raceway
in California and Lopez was brilliant in capturing her lone win of the season.
Miss Lopez will once again rest her fortunes on the newly refurbished 2006 Beast
Chassied/Esslinger powered Midget that is Crewed by her grandfather, the
legendary West Coast racer, Dan Press. While the team had hoped to travel to
Shasta Raceway last month to shake down the car, a couple of minor details
remained to be completed and the team decided to stay in the shop and take their
time with the car rather than do a rush job to finish it. The team did travel to
South Sound last week to take part in a season preview test session the track
put on, and although the car was fast, Miss Lopez felt a few tweaks here and
there will make the car better come race time this weekend.
While the Lopez Team has high hopes to make a serious run for the Series
Championship this year, the deep talent pool within the driving ranks will prove
to make for an interesting battle once the season begins. The 2007 racing season
was a very successful one for the spirited Lopez, but with each new racing
season, the challenges become greater as well. The Lopez Team is still seeking
additional sponsorship partners for the 2008 racing season to assist with the
larger travel schedule the series has embarked on with a couple of shows being
scheduled across the border into Canada. Working with their limited budget may
hinder the Lopez and Company as the season progresses. Lopez, who is hoping to
land a Late Model ride in the future, will continue to race the Midgets until
something solid comes along. Plans are in the formative stages to have Lopez do
some testing in a Late Model racer as well as hone her pavement skills at the
Finish Line Racing School in Florida.
Along with her grandparents, crewman Joe Hayes completes the makeup of the Brea
Lopez Motorsports team.
Brea Lopez would like to thank all of her sponsors and supporters for their
efforts in helping the team prepare for the 2008 racing season. Steve Forler
Trucking, Redline Oil, Ridgecrest Homes, Hooker Harness, Bell Helmets, Finish
