Mills lost some ground as Brown heads to the pits on lap9. Lap 10 had Short still leading Mills, Johnson, Wilkins, and Bunting. Wilkins on the move had swapped paint with Downs then on lap 18 Johnson and Wilkins are dead even wheel to wheel going in to turn 3; neither would share a piece real estate as both continue fender to fender. Finally Wilkins takes the upper hand and moved to 2nd as Johnson wind up going wide.
Caution waves as Beau Wilkins goes over top embankment in turn 3 on lap 18. Restart its Mills, Wilkins, Bunting, Johnson, Downs, lap 19 Bunting and Wilkins move for second as Bunting claims 2nd and along comes Johnson in 4th and Wilkins had to settle for 3rd.
