There were 3 heats, 1 consi with a total of 25 cars to gain the last 20th spot available for the feature.

Keith Jackson, a 16 year old out of the Upper MD area; as I forgot to write it down it seems.  He has been racing the last 2 yrs The Rock, Hagerstown, etc. and decided they would come to DIS and check it out.  Well, Keith got a 10th place spot first time on the track.  Way to go!

Some pretty good competition with the heavies of late model drivers were toe to toe.  Kenny Pettyjohn collected his 2nd win at DIS.

Ray Davis, Jr. made his first visit to DIS for the season, good to see them on the track.

Richard Jarvis Jr. made his first appearance at DIS Saturday.  The time listed on the feature was the time on the sheets.  I don't even know if that speed is possible.   Track Fast Lap:  11.703 Seconds and 153.807 MPH on lap 14 but hey what do I know.

Gary Simpson has moved into Late Model racing as I mentioned before, but Gary has really been hanging in there near the front with the rest of the regular late drivers.

Bobby Dryden returned to DIS in the #44 Late Model

Special thanks to David Pettyjohn for doing a live interview with Mark Potter on RaceNite.  David won the consi and was last weeks winner.
