 2 ND:  H. O'Neal 09 Track Fast Lap:  19.925 seconds and 90.339 MPH on lap 7, H. J. Bunting 91  2nd Track Fast Lap:  20.019 seconds and 89.915 MPH on lap 8, N Short, Jr., 8M, M. Byram 55, J. Paulson 15, C. Foskey 28.

Dana Walker had on of his best runs since returning to racing at DIS.  The feature ran 13 laps before the first yellow flew for Dekutoski in turn 2.  The following lap Dekutoski, rolled to stop just before turn 1 and this time he was on the hook.  Another yellow on lap 17 for Mark Byram with some kind of mechanical woes.  Restart had Walker, O'Neal, Dutton, Bunting, and Short the top 5, another yellow next two laps.  Short and Bunting were wheel to wheel through turn 3.  Lap 20 Dutton gets a run on turn 2 and reaches O'Neal, as O'Neal backed out for some reason and Dutton makes the move to second.  Walker lead up to lap 22, then Dutton made his move inching up to Walker before the kill.  Lap 23 Dutton got a good run on the outside line of turn 2. Lap 24 they roll door to door down the backstretch, into turn 3, and out of turn 4 to the checkered where Dutton claims his second win for the year and by mere tenth of a second.

The field may have been short but it was a hell of a race.  It looked to be a done deal for Walker, but you know what they say, it's not over to the fat lady sings.  Great race guys!

Another small field,  but trust me it was some really good racing action.  Austin Hubbard can add his first race at Delmar to the other wins for this year he has earned (2).  Hubbard is 15 years old and in his first year in a super late model.  He is no joke!  He has proven that he can most definitely run with the big dogs every time he has hit the track.  Hopefully, he will be a new star for Delaware racing.

Vic Thomas started on the pole but the start was waved off for debris on the track.  On the starting lap Hubbard was fourth but as soon as he reach turns 1 & 2, a couple cars got loose and Hubbard shoots right through this hole right between 2nd and 3rd place cars to take second.  Coming down the backstretch by lap two Thomas and Hubbard drag race with Hubbard taking the lead.

Yellow on lap 5 for Hill in turn 2.  Restart it was Hubbard, Davis, Cursey, Pettyjohn and the point car of Thomas.  Half way Hubbard leads Davis, Pettyjohn, Lingo, and Whaley; Whaley got just a tad out of shape.  Lap 14 Pettyjohn finally gets by Davis for second.  Hubbard has run away with a good lead as the yellow flew on lap 17.  This would have Pettyjohn at a big advantage because we all know Pettyjohn always get a good restart on driver.  The last three laps Hubbard and Pettyjohn go for it and battle all three laps wheel to wheel.  One slip up from Hubbard and Pettyjohn world have most definitely capitalize on it.  The two raced clean and flawless to the checkered with Hubbard claiming his first win at Delaware International Speedway.  Few laps would have been rathre interesting.  Congrats Austin!

Kenny Pettyjohn was in the Butch Warrington # 91.  Lingo was superior, but he did have a little damage on the middle of the right side of the car when Whaley hit a rough spot and the car jumped up.
