The weather had not had any rains in our area which really makes it hard to keep moisture in the tracks. Both GT & DIS had dry slick tracks and with slower speeds at DIS for sure. But the racing was still awesome.

Donald Lingo, Jr. had a piston blow in hot laps
The field was short with other late model races nearby, but we had a awesome race. Thomas started on the pole, and on a restart King took the lead with Davis, and Lingo the 2nd and 3rd spots. Lap 6 King laps cars, and lap 7 Lingo took 2nd. At 1/2 way King leads Lingo, Whaley, Davis, and Thomas. On a restart Lingo took the lead after King got around in turn 4. Lap 14 Whaley & Lingo work side by side through turn 3, with Whaley taking the lead. Lap 16 Davis gets by Lingo in turn 2 to claim 2nd. Lap 17, 3 to go and lap traffic ahead, Whaley & Davis battle side by side, wheel to wheel with a lap car in the middle to get by. The two continue all the way to the checkered with Whaley earning his second win of the year. You had Thomas, King, Lingo, and Whaley leading.
